SR/PRACH indicating DG or CG request
To facilitate requesting DG or CG, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. An example method at a UE includes transmitting, to a base station, an SR or a PRACH associated with a scheduling type indication that indicates a DG or a CG. The example further includes receiving a response from the base station.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING DATA UNIT USING RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a data unit using a Random Access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of configuring a first RA preamble group and a second RA preamble group, wherein RA preambles belonging to the first RA preamble group indicates that a RA Response (RAR) is not required and RA preambles belonging to the second RA preamble group indicates that the RAR is required; selecting one of the first preamble group and the second RA preamble group based on whether a response of the transmitted data unit from a network is required or not; and transmitting one of the RA preambles belonging to the selected RA preamble group with the data unit to the network.
LISTEN BEFORE TALK (LBT) FAILURE TRIGGERED SCHEDULING REQUEST INDICATION
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for handling a listen before talk (LBT) failure are provided. One method may include performing, by a user equipment, listen before talk (LBT). When the listen before talk (LBT) is successful, the method may include transmitting an intended transmission subsequent to the listen before talk (LBT). When the listen before talk (LBT) is not successful, the method may include transmitting an indication of listen before talk (LBT) failure by transmitting a portion of the intended transmission subsequent to the listen before talk (LBT).
Random access method and apparatus
This application relates to the wireless communications field, and discloses a random access method and apparatus, to resolve a problem of how a terminal device selects an uplink to perform random access. The method includes: selecting, by a terminal device, a first uplink from at least two preconfigured uplinks to perform random access; and selecting, by the terminal device when random access performed by using the first uplink fails, a second uplink from the at least two uplinks to perform random access, where the at least two uplinks are communications links between the terminal device and a first network device, the first network device and the terminal device are located in a same cell, the first uplink is a normal uplink NUL, and the second uplink is a supplementary uplink SUL. In this way, the terminal device selects an uplink to perform random access.
SIGNALING OF RANDOM ACCESS PREAMBLE PARAMETERS IN WIRELESS NETWORKS
User equipment (UE)—initiated accesses within a cellular network are optimized to account for cell size and to reduce signaling overhead. A fixed set of preamble parameter configurations for use across a complete range of cell sizes within the cellular network is established and stored within each UE. A UE located in a given cell receives a configuration number transmitted from a nodeB serving the cell, the configuration number being indicative of a size of the cell. The UE selects a preamble parameter configuration from the fixed set of preamble parameter configurations in response to the received configuration number and then transmits a preamble from the UE to the nodeB using the preamble parameter configuration indicated by the configuration number.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMMUNICATION IN A NETWORK OF WLAN OVERLAPPING BASIC SERVICE SET
A method and apparatus for communication in a network of WLAN overlapping basic service set (OBSS) are disclosed. A station or an access point may indicate its interference reporting and inter-BSS coordination capabilities in a message. At least one of quality of service (QoS) settings, transmission opportunity (TXOP), restricted access window (RAW) or beacon subinterval schedules, or traffic indication map (TIM) or uplink access window assignment may be coordinated. The station may receive a request for interference measurements on the basic service set (BSS) of the station or neighboring BSSs that the station can overhear. The station may transmit an interference measurement report to an access point. The coordination may be performed based on the interference measurement report. Furthermore, STAs may transmit channel or sector preferences to APs and receive channel or sector assignments.
Power saving for pedestrian user equipment in vehicular communications systems
Embodiments are presented herein for adjusting the conduct of routine communications of safety messages in V2X networks in order to conserve resources in participating power-limited devices while satisfying V2X system latency demands. Scheduling (e.g., timing and/or frequency) of safety message communications performed by certain UE devices participating in a V2X network may be dynamically adjusted according to various criteria, such as factors relating to the DRX cycle schedule, motion or mobility, traffic environment, and/or battery or power capabilities of the UE devices, which may conserve UE resources and power consumption. Certain UE devices may efficiently transmit safety messages to the V2X network using one of several proposed RACH-based procedures. In some embodiments, the size of safety message communications may be reduced through various compression techniques, and/or by reducing the amount of contained information, e.g., by omitting certain parameters, which may reduce the resources consumed by performing safety message communications.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A data transmission method is executed by a terminal and includes: during the process of initiating random access to a base station, when there is remaining data to be transmitted in the terminal, sending a random access message to the base station, wherein the random access message contains data amount indication information; and when an uplink grant UL GRANT sent by the base station according to the data amount indication information is received, sending the remaining data to the base station.
COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and apparatus, the method including: determining, according to first bandwidth information corresponding to a first random access channel occasion RO, an initial uplink bandwidth part BWP. By determining the initial uplink BWP according to the first bandwidth information corresponding to the first RO, it is effectively ensured that the initial uplink BWP will not exceed a terminal bandwidth of the terminal device, thereby ensuring that the terminal device can perform normal uplink data transmission.
RANDOM ACCESS RESOURCE CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed in the present application are a random access resource configuration method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, relating to the technical field of communication. The method comprises: a network device sends first configuration information to a terminal device, the first configuration information comprising a first random access resource pool configured for a first type of terminal device and a second random access resource pool configured for a second type of terminal device, the first random access resource pool being different to the second random access resource pool.
