Disclosed is a random access method and apparatus for a reduced capability user equipment in a wireless communication system. A method of performing random access by a UE in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the disclosure may include an operation of receiving random access-related configuration information from a base station; an operation of determining at least one of a RACH occasion (RO) group related to random access preamble transmission, one or more ROs, and a random access preamble group based on at least one of the random access-related configuration information, a UE type, and a repetition level; and an operation of transmitting one or more random access preambles in each of the one or more ROs.

CHANNEL OCCUPANCY TIME AWARE SENSING AND RESOURCE SELECTION FOR NEW RADIO-UNLICENSED SIDELINK

Channel occupancy time (COT) aware sensing and resource selection for new radio-unlicensed (NR-U) sidelink operations is disclosed. A first sidelink user equipment (UE) determines a sensing window or resource selection window (RSW) based on a projected listen-before-talk (LBT) completion time. The UE may sense for a subset of sideline resources within the RSW and COT-SI from a neighboring sidelink UE including identification of a COT initiated by the neighboring UE and one or more parameters associated with the COT. The UE may identify in-COT resources of located within the COT and out-of-COT resources located outside of the COT and then randomly select a set of transmission resources from the in-COT and out-of-COT resources. The UE may then transmit to a second UE using the set of transmission resources.

Method for performing handover, user equipment, and radio communication system

A mobile station in a wireless communication network. The mobile station includes a radio communication that transmits an access request message to a base station via a first communication resource, and receives a timing adjustment in response to the access request message from the base station. The mobile station also includes an adjustment value storage unit that stores the timing adjustment, and a control unit that adjusts access timing corresponding to a second communication resource based on the timing adjustment value stored in the adjustment value storage unit. The radio communication unit then communicates with the base station via the first communication resource and the second communication resource.

Transmission apparatus, reception apparatus, transmission method, and reception method

In a terminal (200), a radio transmitter (209) transmits a signal, and a controller (204) determines an allocation resource to which a signal is assigned in a predetermined frequency band. The predetermined frequency band herein is divided into a plurality of bands, and each of the plurality of bands includes a plurality of frequency resources which are base units of resource allocation for the signal. Furthermore, the allocation resource to which the signal is assigned is composed of at least one of the base units of each of the plurality of bands. Furthermore, a configuration method of the at least one of the base units forming the allocation resource is different for each of the plurality of bands.

Random access occasion indication method and apparatus, random access occasion determination method and apparatus, storage medium, base station and terminal

An RO indication method and apparatus, an RO determination method and apparatus, a storage medium, a base station and a terminal are provided. The RO indication method includes: determining RO configuration information which includes at least one of followings: an association relation between ROs and corresponding frequency resources where the ROs are located respectively, and an association relation between ROs and corresponding available preambles; and transmitting the RO configuration information to a UE. By the embodiments of the present disclosure, a network is able to determine an RO of a UE without considering influence caused by a maximum difference time of RTT and increasing an average waiting time for the UE to transmit a preamble.

Contention window management for group listen before talk based channel access

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure to use for transmitting a downlink signal to a user equipment (UE) on a shared radio frequency spectrum band. The LBT procedure may be a group LBT procedure associated with a first set of contention window durations or an individual listen-before talk procedure associated with a second set of contention window durations. The base station may determine a contention window duration corresponding to the identified LBT procedure, perform the identified LBT procedure using the determined contention window duration, and transmit the downlink signal to the UE based on the performed LBT procedure.

Uplink transmission method for ultra-reliability and low-latency communication, and apparatus therefor

An uplink transmission method performed by a terminal includes: receiving, from a base station, at least one DCI for allocating first uplink transmission and second uplink transmission; performing a first LBT procedure for the first uplink transmission, and performing the first uplink transmission when the first LBT procedure is successful; and performing a second LBT procedure for the second uplink transmission, and performing the second uplink transmission when the second LBT procedure is successful, wherein the first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission are consecutively performed with a time interval longer than a predetermined time.

METHODS PROVIDING INFORMATION MESSAGES INCLUDING RACH REPORTS AND RELATED WIRELESS DEVICES

A wireless device registers with a first PLMN having a first PLMN identity. A first plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the first PLMN. First information related to the first plurality of RA procedures is stored. The wireless device registers with a second PLMN having a second PLMN identity different than the first PLMN identity after registering with the first PLMN and after performing the first plurality of RA procedures. The first information is discarded responsive to registering with the second PLMN. A second plurality of RA procedures is performed while registered with the second PLMN.
