SYSTEMS AND TECHNIQUES FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATION
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communication. One example method generally comprises identifying, by a wireless device, a frequency of a sidelink operation being unlicensed spectrum. The wireless device may detect whether a synchronization signal is on one or more carriers overlapping with the frequency, and in response to the detection, determine whether to enable the sidelink operation in the frequency. The wireless device may send an indication of whether the sidelink operation is enabled based on the determination.
Uplink control information transmission on autonomous uplink in new radio-unlicensed (NR-U)
Wireless communications systems and methods related to communicating uplink control information (UCI) in a network operating over multiple aggregated unlicensed carriers are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a downlink communication signal. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, an unscheduled uplink communication signal including an uplink report associated with the downlink communication signal, the unscheduled uplink communication signal communicated based on a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure. The uplink report includes at least one of an acknowledgement (ACK) for data in the downlink communication signal, a negative-acknowledgement (NACK) for the data in the downlink communication signal, or channel information based at least on the downlink communication signal.
COMMUNICATION METHOD, TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM, NETWORK NODE, BASE STATION AND USER EQUIPMENT
A communication method for communicating with a telecommunication system is provided, with a network node, a base station and a UE coordinately implementing the method. The telecommunication system transmits a control message comprising a channel occupancy duration COD field configured to indicate a duration candidate, such that the UE is configured with control message and enabled to perform transmission and/or reception over the unlicensed spectrum within a remaining channel occupancy duration RCOD determined from the control message.
Beam Failure Recovery Procedures with Shared Radio Spectrum
A method may include determining, by a wireless device, a periodic beam failure detection (BFD) reference signal (RS) is not received due to a failure of a listen before talk (LBT) procedure. The method may include transmitting, in response to the determining, a message for a BFD procedure based on receiving an aperiodic BFD RS quasi collocated with the periodic BFD RS.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SMALL DATA TRANSMISSION IN A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. According to an embodiment, the method comprises initiating a small data transmission (SDT) procedure, in a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state, obtaining a report for a log connection failure or an SDT procedure failure, based on an expiry of an SDT timer, wherein the report for the log connection failure includes information indicating that the report is for SDT and in case that the UE enters an RRC connected state, and transmitting the report to a base station, based on a request for the report from the base station.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A fifth generation (5G) or sixth generation (6G) communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate is provided. A method performed by a terminal configured with a carrier aggregation (CA) for a first cell and a second cell is provided. The method includes determining a beam failure of the first cell, in response to the determining of the beam failure of the first cell, transmitting a first message of a random access for a beam failure recovery, receiving a second message of the random access on a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) of the first cell based on the transmission of the first message, transmitting a third message of the random access based on the second message and receiving a fourth message of the random access on the PDSCH of the first cell based on the transmission of the third message, wherein control information is received on a PDCCH.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORMING UWB RANGING
Methods are provided for UWB ranging based on contention-based multiple access. A method performed by a first UWB device includes transmitting an IM for initiating UWB ranging, receiving an AM from a second UWB device within a contention period, transmitting a first RM, receiving a second RM corresponding to the first RM from the second UWB device, and transmitting an FM.
METHOD FOR SWITCHING CONTROL CHANNEL MONITORING OF SEARCH SPACE SET GROUP
A method, system and apparatus are disclosed for switching control channel monitoring of search space set group. According to one or more embodiments, a network node is provided. The network node includes processing circuitry configured to: configure a wireless device with at least two search space set groups, SSSGs; configure the wireless device to switch control channel monitoring between the at least two SSSGs; and optionally cause transmission of signaling on the control channel in accordance with the configured switching of the control channel monitoring.
RANDOM ACCESS METHOD AND APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A random access method and apparatus and a communication system. The apparatus includes a first processor circuit, the first processor circuit being configured to: receive resource configuration of contention-free random access, the resource configuration of contention-free random access comprising resource configuration of second type contention-free random access (CFRA); and perform a second type contention-free random access procedure according to the resource configuration of the second type CFRA, wherein the resource configuration of the second type CFRA comprises a second type CFRA preamble index associated with a synchronization signal block (SSB) or a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), configuration of a physical random access channel occasion (RO) of a second message (MsgA), and configuration of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of the MsgA.
