Valet parking paging system
The valet parking and paging system is a wireless signaling apparatus that facilitates communication between a valet parking station and a client of the valet parking station. Specifically, the valet parking and paging system is a wireless signaling apparatus that exchanges status information between the valet parking station and a client. The valet parking and paging system comprises a plurality of valet units, a plurality of client units, and a base stations. The plurality of valet units comprises a collection of individual valet units. The plurality of client units comprises a collection of individual client units. Each individual valet unit selected from the plurality of valet units plugs into and is electrically connected to a location selected from the group consisting of the base station or an individual client unit selected from the plurality of client units.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EFFICIENT AND DETERMINISTIC GROUP ALERTING
Systems and methods are provided for reliable, wireless group messaging or alerting in a system having a database, switch, wireless network, and a plurality of intelligent mobile receivers. A message is broadcast to and received by a selected group of the mobile receivers. The network replies to the sender with detailed information about the individual members in the group. Each of the mobile receivers in the group can acknowledge the group message back to the system such as when the message is received, when the message is read, and a response when sent. The system employs centralized management to provide the sender with response information of the mobile receivers.
PAGING SYSTEM
A paging system that allows a paging device to page a pager via a signaling channel of a communication network to which the pager is coupled. An alerting server that is part of the paging system receives a paging request from the paging device and converts the paging request to a paging message that is then transmitted over the signaling channel to the pager device. In response to the paging message, the pager device transmits a contact message indicating reception of the paging message and starts a timer for a defined time period during which the pager device is to transmit an acknowledgment message over the signaling channel to the alerting server which informs the paging device that the page has been properly received.

High penetration alerting for airborne LTE
A method for providing an alert notification to a user in a degraded location includes obtaining incoming call data indicating the mobile terminal is unable to establish a first communication link with a communication terminal for receiving an incoming call using voice over long term evolution. The method also includes providing the alert notification to a user associated with the mobile terminal based on the obtained incoming call data. The alert notification informs the user that the incoming call directed toward the mobile terminal is pending. The method also includes receiving the incoming call from the communication terminal after the mobile terminal moves away from the degraded location and establishes the first communication link with the communication terminal.
Method for implementing trunk service based on long term evolution and trunk user terminal
A method and trunk user terminal for implementing a trunk service based on LTE is disclosed. The trunk user terminal includes: a first monitoring unit, configured to monitor a trunk paging channel (TPCH); a group call request unit, configured to initiate a group call; a second monitoring unit, configured to: after the first monitoring unit monitors a group call message through the TPCH, monitor a trunk group control channel (TGCCH) on a network side to obtain configuration information of a trunk group traffic channel (TGTCH) issued on the TGCCH; and a third monitoring unit, configured to establish a local TGTCH bearer based on the configuration information to monitor the TGTCH.

TECHNIQUES FOR HANDLING RADIO ACCESS NETWORK FAILURES IN A MOBILE NETWORK ENVIRONMENT
Provided herein are techniques to facilitate handling Radio Access Network (RAN) failures in a mobile networking environment. In one example, a method may include obtaining, by an access management node from a session management node of a mobile network, a subscription request for the session management node to be notified regarding reset of a radio node of a wireless wide area (WWA) radio access technology (RAT) type; determining, by the access management node, that a particular radio node of the WWA RAT type has been reset; and providing, by the access management node to the session management node, a notification indicating that the particular radio node of the WWA RAT type has been reset.
