WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK SYSTEM, AND DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
An arrangement suitable for a mobile local wireless network includes: a gateway to facilitate a local short-range wireless network, to receive at least sensor measurement data via the short-range wireless network, and to be connected to an in-situ computing device; a computing device connected to the gateway, having a unit to obtain sensor measurement data via the gateway from sensor nodes; a sensor node transmitting measurement data via long-range wireless networks, and transmitting measurement data and receiving beacon signals via short-range communication. The gateway sends beacon signals. The sensor node receives a beacon signal and utilizes only the short-range wireless network for sending the measurement data, terminating transmission of data over long-range wireless networks for a period of time, in accordance with commands received from the gateway or as long as a beacon signal is detected at the sensor nodes. Corresponding gateway, method and computer-program product are also disclosed.
RESPONDING TO PAGING BY MULTIPLE-UNIVERSAL SUBSCRIPTION IDENTITY MODULE DEVICES
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for responding to paging by multiple-universal subscription identity module (multi-USIM) devices. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes camping on a first cell associated with a first universal subscriber identity module (USIM), wherein the UE has a first USIM and a second USIM; receiving a paging message from the first cell; and transmitting, in response to the paging message, a first response message indicating that the UE requests to enter an idle or inactive mode on the first cell.
TERMINAL AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD
A terminal according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a transmission section that transmits mode 2 capability information indicating that mode 2 of full power transmission is supported; and a control section that, in a case where the mode 2 capability information is transmitted and transmitted precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) group capability information regarding a TPMI group is not transmitted, assumes that a number of SRS ports=1 is configured for at least one SRS resource included in a measurement reference signal (sounding reference signal (SRS)) resource set of which usage is a codebook. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, it is possible to control full power transmission appropriately.
COORDINATED TUNE AWAY FOR MULTI-SIM DEVICES
Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coordinated tune away for multiple subscriber identity module (SIM) devices. A method by a user equipment includes communicating with a first base station (BS) of a first radio access network (RAN) in a connected mode using a first subscription associated with a first SIM of the UE, wherein the UE: includes a second subscription associated with a second SIM for communicating with a second BS of a second RAN, and operates in an idle mode associated with the second subscription while communicating using the first subscription; determining a tune away associated with the first RAN will occur to allow the UE to perform one or more first actions associated with the second subscription; and transmitting information to the first BS indicating the tune away and a request to suspend one or more second actions associated with the first subscription.
Emergency services support for a device which does not have a valid subscription
This disclosure is related to a procedure to provide emergency services support for a UE which does not have a valid subscription for the serving PLMN. This disclosure more specifically provides procedure to support IMS emergency call or eCall support for a UE which is in limited state on a E-UTRA cell is connected to both EPC and 5GCN.
Recovery mechanism for secondary cell
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to cell recovery techniques. One example method generally includes receiving, at a user-equipment (UE), at least one pilot signal via a secondary cell, receive, via a primary cell, a first message triggering reporting of at least one preferred beam for communication via the secondary cell, determining the preferred beam based on the at least one pilot signal, transmitting, via the primary cell, a report indicating the at least one preferred beam, and communicating data via the secondary cell and via the preferred beam.
Device and method of handling mobility between long-term evolution network and fifth generation network
A communication device for handling mobility from a long-term evolution (LTE) network to a fifth generation (5G) network comprises a storage device storing instructions of transmitting a first LTE Non-Access Stratum (NAS) message to the LTE network; receiving a second LTE NAS message in response to the first LTE NAS message, from the LTE network; and transmitting a message to the 5G network, after determining to communicate with the 5G network instead of the LTE network, wherein the message comprises a slice information, and the slice information is comprised in the first LTE NAS message or in the second LTE NAS message.

Method and device for controlling data transmission state in wireless communication system
A method for controlling a data transmission state by a terminal in a wireless communication system may comprise: transmitting capability configuration information of the terminal to a node of a network; applying a triggered communication environment configuration on the basis of the capability configuration information from the node; transmitting, to the node, first connection configuration information related to a wireless local area network (WLAN) connection configuration; and applying a first communication environment reconfiguration triggered from the node on the basis of the first connection configuration information, wherein the capability configuration information includes LWA function permission information of the terminal.
Dynamic analysis and reconfiguration of concurrent data transfer means
Systems and methods for analyzing available networks and transferring data via a two-way radio transmission are described herein. An example method may commence with collecting, by a data collection device, asset data. The method may continue with preprocessing, by the data collection device, the asset data for transmission. The method may further include dynamically analyzing, by the data collection device, networks available for transmission of the asset data determining a mode for the transmission of the asset data. The method may further include transmitting, by at least one of the data collection device and a two-way radio device communicatively coupled to the data collection device, the asset data to a data server. The asset data may be transmitted based on the mode for the transmission via at least one communication channel and at least one intermediate device.
