Control apparatus and method for wireless communication system supporting cognitive radio
A control apparatus and method for a wireless communication system supporting cognitive radio. The control apparatus includes an acquisition unit and a management unit. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire information about at least one factor capable of affecting performance of transferring an access request for a frequency spectrum resource by a communication apparatus, the access request being used for making a request to a device which controls the frequency spectrum allocation for allocating a frequency spectrum to the communication apparatus. The management unit is configured to receive the access request sent by the communication apparatus, and optimize a route for the access request of the communication apparatus according to the acquired factor in the case that the access request contains information indicating that the communication apparatus is a slave apparatus of another communication apparatus.
Apparatus and method for managing connections in wireless communication system
Methods and apparatuses are provided in a wireless communication system. A first message is transmitted, from a master base station, to a secondary base station, for requesting the secondary base station to allocate resources for a dual connectivity (DC) operation. A second message is received from the secondary base station, after transmitting the first message. A third message is transmitted to the secondary base station, after receiving the second message. The first message includes a quality of service (QoS) flow identifier (ID) and available data radio bearer (DRB) IDs. The second message includes the QoS flow ID and a DRB ID corresponding to the QoS flow ID. The third message includes tunnel information for the DRB ID including an Internet protocol (IP) address and a tunnel endpoint identifier (TEID).
Resource configuration in an integrated access and backhaul network
Disclosed are methods, systems, apparatus, and computer programs for communicating new link availability configurations for a node in an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message from an IAB node; determining, based on the RRC message, a new resource availability configuration for a backhaul resource associated with the IAB node; and in response to determining the new resource availability configuration, conditionally communicating with the IAB node over the backhaul resource according to the new resource availability configuration.
Reducing interference in CBRS networks
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for radio resource management in a Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) network include one or more CBRS devices (CBSDs) which can obtain a group type associated with the CBSDs and their associated Radio Environment Map (REM) reports of one or more frequency channels of the CBRS network. The group type and the REM reports may be provided to a Self-Organizing Network (SON) manager of the CBRS network, where the SON manager may determine and provide to the CBSDs, one or more of a channel utilization information, transmission power, or mobility load management information for the CBSD, based on the group type and the REM reports.
Enhanced network connectivity for a connected car and onboard user equipment
A connected car and an onboard user equipment (UE) may establish independent cellular connections and may also establish a connection between each other. The UE establishes a first cellular link between the UE and a first network, establishes a connection with a connected car, wherein the connected car has a second cellular link between the connected car and a second network, evaluates one or more conditions and declares one of the first cellular link or the connection with the connected car a primary network interface for the UE based on, at least, the one or more conditions.

Information transmission method and apparatus, and computer storage medium
Provided is an information transmission method and apparatus. The method applied to a first base station includes: acquiring related information of a terminal, where the related information is uplink information or downlink information, and includes traffic data and/or control information; sending the related information to the second base station through a common transmission channel between base stations. When the related information is uplink information, the first base station is a current serving base station of the terminal, the second base station is a previous serving base station of the terminal, and the uplink information is supplied to the second base station to be decoded. When the related information is downlink information, the second base station is the current serving base station, the first base station is the previous serving base station, and the downlink information is sent to the terminal to be decoded. Further provided is a computer storage medium.

Obtaining distributed unit's configuration information by a central unit of a base station
A method is presented in which a central unit of a distributed base station apparatus in a cellular communication system sends to a distributed unit of the distributed base station apparatus a first message comprising an information element for requesting the distributed unit of the distributed base station to provide a current distributed unit configuration. The central unit receives, from the distributed unit of the distributed base station apparatus, configuration information for the current distributed unit configuration in a second message sent in response to the first message.
