A discontinuous reception (DRX) mode determining method and apparatus. The method includes obtaining, by a terminal device, a time domain resource, where the time domain resource is used to transmit sidelink control information and/or sidelink data information, and determining, by the terminal device, a first DRX mode based on the time domain resource, where the first DRX mode comprises an on duration and an off duration. The time domain resource has a first resource set or a second resource set, the first resource set has N resources, and the second resource set includes the periodic first resource set.

COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS

Embodiments of this application provide example communication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes receiving, by a first network device, a first request message and uplink data from a terminal, where the first request message is for requesting to resume a suspended radio resource control (RRC) connection. The first network device can then send a second request message to a second network device based on the first request message and the uplink data, where the second network device is a network device previously serving the terminal, and the second request message includes information about the uplink data, where the second request message is for requesting the second network device to release a first data channel between the second network device and a core network device, or the second request message is for requesting the second network device to send a context of the terminal to the first network device.

In one embodiment a method includes virtualizing, with a HetNet Gateway (HNG), BBUs and home eNodeBs over a standard S1 interface; establishing the HNG as a macro interfacing an EPC on 3GPP standard interfaces; communicating with an MME over the S1 interface for control plane signaling; and communicating with SAEGW over a standard GTPU interface for a data plane.

Method for controlling wireless local area network aggregation and associated equipment

The present disclosure relates to a pre-5.sup.th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4.sup.th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present invention provides a method for controlling Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) aggregation and an associated equipment. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring, by a first radio access network node, WLAN information about a User Equipment (UE); and, controlling, by the first radio access network node, WLAN aggregation for the UE according to the acquired WLAN information. A second radio access network node decides whether to maintain a WT and/or whether to establish WLAN aggregation for the UE when the UE moves to a first radio access network; and, the second radio access network node transmits information about whether to maintain the WT and/or indication information about whether to establish the WLAN aggregation for the UE. The WT receives UE context reference information transmitted by the first radio access network node; and, the WT indexes a UE context according to the received UE context reference information. With the present invention, the WLAN aggregation performance in a UE mobility scenario can be improved.

11558747 · 2023-01-17 · ·

The disclosed technology includes a method and system for preventing or reducing cyber-attacks in telecommunications networks, such as 5G networks. For example, a first node in a 5G network can detect that a first connected device is at risk of a cyber-attack based on one or more conditions and can broadcast to a plurality of nodes in the RAN that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack. The first node can receive a first message from a second node of the plurality of nodes confirming or acknowledging that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack. In response to receiving the first message from the second node confirming or acknowledging that the first connected device is at risk of the cyber-attack, the system can deauthorize the first connected device.
