SIGNALING OF JOINT ALIGNMENT OF UU DRX AND SL DRX
Aspects present herein relate to methods and devices for wireless communication including an apparatus, e.g., a UE and/or a base station. More specifically, aspects described are directed to enhancements to bi-directional alignment of discontinuous reception (DRX). In some examples, an apparatus may receive, from a first user equipment (UE), an indication of discontinuous reception (DRX) assistance information. The apparatus may further configure a first sidelink (SL) DRX configuration for the first UE, a second SL DRX configuration for a second UE, and a first UE-universal mobile telecommunications system terrestrial radio access (UTRA) interface (Uu) DRX configuration for the first UE, wherein at least one of the first SL DRX configuration, the second SL DRX configuration, and the first Uu DRX configuration are configured based on the DRX assistance information.
System and method for dynamic feature selection based on latency discovery
Aspects of the subject disclosure include, for example, identifying a primary serving cell and a secondary serving cell, wherein the primary serving cell facilitates one of attachment, re-attachment or mobility, or any combination thereof, of a mobile device in association with coordination of a wireless service between the primary serving cell, the secondary serving cell and the mobile device. A latency value associated with a message exchange is determined between the primary and secondary serving cells via a messaging interface, and compared to latency requirements, which correspond to a group of mobile service features. A mobile service feature of the group is associated with the wireless service based on the comparison. The wireless service includes a coordinated exchange of wireless signals between the primary serving cell and the mobile device and between the secondary serving cell and the mobile device based on the mobile service feature. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Communication system, base station device and communication terminal device
A high-speed communication system etc. are provided in New Radio (NR) and LTE. When a secondary base station device detects a data inactive state for all bearers, the secondary base station device notifies a master base station device of occurrence of the data inactive state regardless of absence of an inquiry from the master base station device. The data inactive state is a state in which downlink data for a communication terminal device is inactive. When the master base station device receives the notification about the occurrence of the data inactive state, the master base station device transmits a command to the communication terminal device to transition from an RRC_CONNECTED state to an RRC_INACTIVE state. Based on the command from the master base station device, the communication terminal device transitions to the RRC_INACTIVE state.
Communication apparatus and communication method
The present technology relates to a communication apparatus and a communication method that can improve a communication characteristic. The communication apparatus is a base station and includes a control section configured to determine, on the basis of first communication situation information regarding a communication situation of the base station and second communication situation information regarding a communication situation received from another base station, whether or not it is permissible to carry out control of a communication parameter in the base station, and determine, on the basis of the first communication situation information and the second communication situation information, whether or not it is permissible to transmit first control request information regarding a control request of a communication parameter in the other base station. The present technology can be applied, for example, to a wireless LAN system.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR IMPROVING DATA THROUGHPUT VIA BACKHAUL SHARING
Improvement of data throughput via backhaul sharing is accomplished by accessing a cell site servicing data transmission at a first data rate and a connected backhaul network having a backhaul data rate. A determination of whether the first data rate exceeds the backhaul data rate is made and an excess data rate is determined. When the first data rate exceeds the backhaul data rate a neighboring cell site having a second backhaul networks is accessed. A determination is made of how much additional capacity the second backhaul network can handle. When the neighboring cell site can handle the excess data rate backhaul sharing using beamforming is initiated.
Management of radio link failure in wireless backhaul
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A relay device may detect an upstream radio link failure (RLF) associated with an upstream link of a wireless backhaul, where the wireless backhaul includes a first wireless link between the relay device and a first upstream backhaul device. The relay device may provide a first indication of the upstream radio link failure over a second wireless link between the relay device and a first downstream device. The relay device may establish a third wireless link with a second upstream backhaul device based on the detected upstream radio link failure. The relay device may provide multiple-access services to one or more downstream devices, where providing the multiple-access services is based on backhaul communications between the relay device and the second upstream backhaul device over the third wireless link.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SYNCHRONIZING PACKET DUPLICATION OPERATION BETWEEN BASE STATION NODES IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Methods and apparatuses are provided for activating or deactivating packet duplication in a wireless communication system. A central unit (CU) of a first base station transmits, to a distributed unit (DU) of the first base station, via an F1 interface, information to activate or deactivate a dual connectivity (DC) based packet duplication for a data radio bearer (DRB). The information is transmitted to a second base station. A medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) indicating whether to activate or deactivate packet duplication for the DRB, based on the information, is transmitted to a user equipment (UE).
