AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE, METHOD OF CONTROLLING AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
Provided is an aerosol generating device which is capable of stopping aerosol generation at an appropriate timing. This aerosol generating device includes a power source which supplies power in order to atomize an aerosol source and/or heat a flavor source; a sensor which outputs a measurement value for controlling the power supplied; and a circuitry which controls the power supplied from the power source on the basis of the measurement value. The circuitry controls to increase a power supply amount per unit time in response to a first condition that the measured value is equal to or larger than a first threshold being satisfied, and to decrease the power supply amount per unit time in response to a second condition that the measured value is less than a second threshold greater than the first threshold and a third condition which is different from the first condition and the second condition being satisfied.
System and method for applying of a coating element to a bearing surface
System (2) for automatically applying a coating element (4) to a support surface comprises a heating device (1) for applying the coating element (4) along an application path of the support surface, by administration of heat obtained by the Joule effect, comprising a first electrode (5) and a second electrode (6) which can be connected to an electric power generator and are configured to form a part of an electric circuit, a portion of the coating element (4) being able to be arranged between the first electrode (5) and the second electrode (6), so as to close the electric circuit, such that the Joule effect heats the portion of the coating element (4) following a flow of current in the electric circuit, the overall configuration of the heating device being such that the first electrode (5) and the second electrode (6) are able to be moved with respect to the coating element (4) during application of the coating element (4) to the support surface, and an automatic movement device (3) being able to move the device (1) along a path for applying the coating element (4) to the support surface.
Heating method, heating apparatus and method of manufacturing press-molded article
A heating method, a heating apparatus, and a method of manufacturing a press-molded article using the heating method are provided. A pair of electrodes is arranged on a workpiece along a first direction. Each electrode has a length extending across a first heating area of the workpiece in the first direction. At least one of the electrodes is moved in the first heating area and along a second direction intersecting the first direction at a constant speed while applying electric current between the pair of electrodes to heat the first heating area by direct resistance heating. The electric current applied between the pair of electrodes is adjusted such that a heating temperature is adjusted for each segment into which the first heating area is divided so as to be side by side in the second direction.
Continuous heat-treating apparatus for food material and energizing and heating method
A main energizing/heating unit has an outer electrode and an inner electrode, and energizes a fool material to be gelatinized by heating and continuously heat-treats it while it is conveyed in a food flow channel. The food flow channel in which the food material flows is formed between the both electrodes. Fed to the food material flowing in the food flow channel by a power supply section is a current in a direction traversing a flow direction of the food material. An inner cooling flow channel is formed in the inner electrode, and cooling liquid is fed to the inner cooling flow channel through a piping.
ADDITIVE MANUFACTURED HEATER ELEMENTS FOR PROPELLER ICE PROTECTION
An additively manufactured heating element is printed on a flexible substrate and attached to an aircraft component having a complex geometric surface. The heating element is made of a plurality of layers of a conductive ink, which is electrically connected to a controller through one or more leads.

ELECTRIC FLUID HEATING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An electric fluid heating system is provided. The system includes first and at least second electrically powered heating elements. A fluid path is associated with each of the first and at least second heating elements and arranged such that heat can be transferred from the heating element to fluid containable within the associated fluid path when said heating element is in an operable condition in use. The first and at least second heating elements are independently operable and/or controllable.
Resistance annealing furnace to anneal a metal wire, strand, string, wire rod or strap
A resistance annealing furnace for annealing a metal wire, strand, string, wire rod or strap having at least two electric axes provided with respective pulleys to convey the metal wire and a DC voltage generator suppliable with an AC voltage to generate an annealing voltage applied between the two electric axes so as to provoke the annealing due to Joule effect. The DC voltage generator has active supplying means supplied with the AC voltage so as to generate an intermediate DC voltage, a pulse width modulator to transform the intermediate voltage into a first PWM voltage with the same amplitude, a voltage transformer to transform the first PWM voltage into a second PWM voltage with a smaller amplitude, and a voltage rectifier stage to transform the second PWM voltage into the annealing voltage.
