Golf ball and resin composition for cover or topcoat thereof
Provided are a golf ball and a resin composition for a cover or topcoat thereof which can suppress the yellowing of the golf ball caused by ultraviolet rays even if a naturally derived substance is used as an ultraviolet absorber, and they are environmentally and human friendly. A resin composition for a cover or topcoat of a golf ball of the present invention contains: a resin for a cover or topcoat; and a plant-derived extract which absorbs ultraviolet rays. The resin composition has a color difference ΔE of 10.0 or less in a Lab color system between before and after a color tone change test, the color tone change test being carried out by irradiating a film formed from the resin composition with a xenon lamp. In the golf ball of the present invention, the cover or the topcoat is formed by using the resin composition.
COATINGS FOR GOLF BALLS HAVING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYURETHANE COVER
Methods for coatings for golf balls, particularly golf balls having thermoplastic polyurethane covers, and the resulting finished balls are provided. The coating is preferably a topcoat comprising a polyurethane composition containing optical brighteners. The topcoat composition preferably comprises a low concentration of optical brighteners. For example, the concentration of optical brightener can be in the range of 0.01 to about 0.20 weight %. The optical brighteners provide the desired brightness to the golf ball without sacrificing color stability. Multi-piece golf balls having inner cores, outer cores, inner covers, and intermediate layers can be made. The finished ball with the topcoat has many advantageous physical and playing performance properties.
MULTI-COLOR URETHANE GOLF BALL
A golf ball that includes at least one core, and a cover layer formed from a cast polyurethane or polyurea, wherein the cover layer defines a first surface area portion of a uniform first color and a second surface area portion of a uniform second color, and a seam between the first surface area portion and the second surface area portion, wherein the first color is different than the second color.

The finished ball with the topcoat has many advantageous physical and playing performance properties.
COLOR GOLF BALL WITH NATURAL METALLIC GLOSS
A color coating solution is produced by dispersing a nano-color pigment and a metallic gloss pigment into a polymer resin, and the solution is coated and molded on a cover layer having a color similar to that of the color coating solution. Since the pigment composition is different between the cover layer and the color coating layer, internal shieldability is improved. As a result, a dark color or uneven surface of the core, mantle, or cover is not exposed, so that a surface defect rate can be reduced. Since both the nano-color pigment and the metallic gloss pigment are used in the color coating layer, the metallic gloss and the color are exhibited in a single layer. Therefore, it is possible to provide natural metallic gloss without a strange texture feeling.

Item Holder
An item holder primarily containing two parts: a ball shaped element and a clip. The clip can be seated neatly into a cutout in the ball shaped element. The clip can also be designed as a divot tool or a spike and contains a clamp that can be used to hold a cigar or cigarette, support a golf club or have other uses. The ball shaped element is sized to fit neatly into the ball bracket on any pull cart or motorized cart equipped with such a bracket.
Golf ball dimple patterns including stars and stripes and color
The present invention provides golf balls having a pattern of stellated polygon shaped dimples and grooves with pre-selected and coordinated color appearances on the outer surface of the ball to produce a unique and desirable overall golf ball color appearance.
Golf ball and method of making same
Golf ball comprising one or more layers and/or indicia formed from a fluorescent composition comprising: a base polymer; and a colorant; wherein the colorant is a small-molecule ionic isolation lattice formed from one or more fluorescent dye and one or more cyanostar macrocycles. The one or more fluorescent dyes may include at least one dye selected from xanthenes, oxazines, styryls, cyanines, trianguleniums, or mixtures thereof. The colorant may be a dispersion of the small-molecule ionic isolation lattice in a carrier medium or a powder. In particular embodiments, at least one of the one or more layers is a cover layer and/or a coating layer.
Golf ball
A matte golf ball which is free of luster and gloss has such a good ball appearance that the injection marks which form during injection molding of the cover are not visible. The golf ball includes a core of at least one layer, a cover of at least one layer, and a paint film. The outermost layer of the cover is formed of a resin composition which includes a thermoplastic resin and a colorant comprising a fluorescent dye or a fluorescent pigment, and has a visible light transmittance with an average value at wavelengths in the 380 to 780 nm spectrum of from 2.0 to 50.0%. The paint film is formed of a urethane-based paint composition containing delustering particles.
