An electric composite heat oven provided with a sight window of a transparent planar heating element is provided. Since the electric composite heat oven has a structure in which a heater heating element is installed, being lower than the upper end of a cooking container, on the front and rear sidewalls of a cooking chamber of an enclosure and a transparent planar heating element is installed over an opening of the cooking chamber of the enclosure, radiant heat may actively control various disturbances that occur during cooking depending on a place where the oven is installed and a change in temperature, whereby there is an effect of providing the optimum heat power depending on a cooking material and also shortening cooking time.

To provide an automobile window glass having an antifogging function, which can secure a favorable field of view of passengers in an automobile.

A windshield 10 according to an embodiment comprises an in-vehicle camera 20, a conductor 26, and wirings 36 and 40 to connect the conductor 26 and a battery 38. The conductor 26 has a heating portion 30, and has a resistor 50 between the heating portion 30 and the battery 38. The heating portion 30 heats an information transmitting/receiving region 28 which allows the in-vehicle camera 20 to take an image of the scenery outside the automobile through the windshield 10. The resistor 50 has a resistance corresponding to the resistance of a surplus wire at the heating portion.

GLASS WITH FUNCTION OF REGULATION IN SECTIONS AND SYSTEM FOR REGULATING GLASS IN SECTIONS

A glass with a function of regulation in sections includes a glass body and a conductive component. The glass body includes a glass substrate and a functional component attached to the glass substrate and divided into sections capable of being individually regulated. The conductive component is coupled to each section of the functional component. The conductive component includes a flexible printed circuit and a conductive adhesive. The flexible printed circuit includes a conductive trace electrically connected to each section of the functional component via the conductive adhesive to allow an individual regulation of each section of the functional component. The glass with a function of regulation in sections is capable of regulating a function of a target section of the functional component according to a user's instruction and an environmental parameter.

Systems for Detecting Cracks in Windows

A system such as a vehicle may have windows with one or more conductive layers. The conductive layers may form part of an infrared-light-blocking layer or other layer. The infrared-light-blocking layer or other layer may be formed as a coating on a transparent structural window layer such as an outer or inner glass layer in a laminated window or may be embedded in a polymer layer between the outer and inner layers. Segmented terminals and elongated terminals that may extend past two or more segmented terminals may be coupled to the edges of the conductive layers. Using these terminals, control circuitry can apply localized ohmic heating currents and can make resistance measurements on the conductive layers to detect cracks.
