GOLF BALL CONSTRUCTIONS INCORPORATING THERMOSET AND/OR THERMOPLASTIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING TRIGONAL BIPYRAMIDALLY COORDINATED METAL CATIONS
Golf ball comprising layer(s) consisting of mixture of layer composition and trigonal bipyramidal coordination complex composition comprising trigonal bipyramidally coordinated metal cations. Example includes formula AM.sub.1xM.sub.xM.sub.yO.sub.3+y; A comprising at least one of Mg, Sc, Y, Ti, Fe, Zn, Al, Ga, In, Sn, Gd, Td, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, or Lu; M comprising at least one of Mg, Sc, Y, Ti, Fe, Zn, Al, Ga, In, Sn, Gd, Td, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, or Yb; or a 1:1 mixture of M.sub.A and M.sub.B cations, wherein M.sub.A is at least one of Zn, Mg, or Cu; and M.sub.B is at least one of Ti or Sn; M is at least one of Mn, Fe, Al, Ga, In; and M is at least one of Mg, Zn, or Cu; and 0.8x.>0.0; and y is an integer from 0 to 15. In one embodiment, A is Y, M is In, M is Mn, y=0, and 1.0.>x.>0.0.
GOLF BALL
An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having high visibility and excellent orientation at shot. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a core and a cover disposed outside of the core, wherein a surface of the golf ball has a first region with a first color and a second region with a second color, the first color has hue H1 represented by H value in HSL color space, the second color has hue H2 represented by H value in HSL color space, and the H1 and the H2 satisfy the following mathematical formula (1):
60<|H1H2|<300 (1).
GOLF BALL
An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having high visibility and little uncomfortableness at shot. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a core and a cover disposed outside of the core, wherein a surface of the golf ball has a first region with a first color and a second region with a second color, the first color has hue H1 represented by H value in HSL color space, the second color has hue H2 represented by H value in HSL color space, and the H1 and the H2 satisfy a specific mathematical formula.
GOLF BALL COMPONENT HAVING MULTIPLE COLOR CONCENTRATE ADDITIVES
A golf ball component and method of forming the same is disclosed herein. The golf ball component includes color concentrate additives having different colors and different material properties, such as melt flow indices or Mooney viscosities. The golf ball component features a unique pattern or visual appearance based on the inclusion of the dissimilar color concentrate additives.
MULTI-COLOR URETHANE GOLF BALL
A golf ball that includes at least one core, and a cover layer formed from a cast polyurethane or polyurea, wherein the cover layer defines a first surface area portion of a uniform first color and a second surface area portion of a uniform second color, and a seam between the first surface area portion and the second surface area portion, wherein the first color is different than the second color.
GOLF BALL HAVING COLOR-SHIFT EFFECT
A golf ball has a core, a cover layer, and a color-shift material incorporated into at least one of the cover layer or a coating applied to the cover layer. The golf ball also has an alignment indicator that provides an intended target strike location on the golf ball. The color-shift material causes the golf ball to exhibit a localized color-shift effect upon application of pressure in the form of a strike by a golf club. The color-shift effect comprises a shift between a first color and a second color and measured as a deltaE of greater than 2 when the change of pressure is within a target range. The color-shift material and the alignment indicator provide feedback regarding an actual strike location relative to the intended target strike location.
