A leveling assembly for a user interface includes a bracket housing that defines an aperture. A carrier is disposed within the bracket housing. The carrier defines an opening proximate to the aperture defined by the bracket housing. An engagement feature is coupled to the carrier and extends through the opening and the aperture. A leveler is operably coupled to the carrier and is configured to translate the carrier between a first position and a second position relative to the aperture defined by the bracket housing.

The present disclosure comprises a housing that defines a cavity therein, a door connected to the housing and configured to open and close the cavity, a microwave (MW) heating module configured to emit microwaves into the cavity, and an induction heating (IH) module configured to emit a magnetic field toward the cavity, the IH module comprises a shielding member through which the magnetic field generated by a working coil of the IH module passes and which blocks microwaves emitted from the MW heating module, and the shielding member comprises any one of carbon paper or carbon fabric woven with carbon fiber.

A modular cooking apparatus is disclosed. The modular cooking apparatus includes a housing having a first interchangeable cooking module, a second interchangeable cooking module, and a single power connection for receiving electrical power from a wall outlet. The first interchangeable cooking module contains a first oven, and the second interchangeable cooking module contains a second oven. The second oven is a different oven type from the first oven. The modular cooking apparatus also includes a controller within the housing for controlling the first and second ovens. The controller includes a memory for storing a list of food items to be cooked within the modular cooking apparatus and a corresponding oven type for each of the food items. The modular cooking apparatus further includes a control panel on the housing for displaying only the food items for which the first oven or the second oven is a corresponding oven type.

The low-profile combined ventilation hood and microwave oven system is coupled with a modular heating system (150;180) for heating food, which provides both functions within the space typically required by the conventional combined ventilation hood and microwave oven.

Adaptable cooking apparatus

A cooking apparatus that combines microwave based heating/cooking with either of blender/mixer grinder functionality and traditional cooking using open flame and/or induction cooking is disclosed. The cooking apparatus comprises a lid and at least one microwave producing device coupled to the lid. A lifting and lowering mechanism carries the lid and microwave producing device at a lower end for enabling vertically raising and lowering the lid along with the coupled microwave producing device. Upper end of lifting and lowering mechanism is slidably configured with a lower side of a chimney. Lid in lowered position gets operatively coupled with a container holding a food item. The container can be one for cooking food using conventional source of heat, or a container for preparatory operations such as blending, stirring, grinding and mixing. Coupling of the lid with the containers enables heating of the contents of the container through the microwaves generated by the at least one microwave producing device.

A heated object is placed on the grid body. The drawer portion includes a moving body made of metal and an engagement portion made of non-metallic material. The moving body is configured to move between an accommodation position inside the heating cooking chamber and a drawn-out position outside the heating cooking chamber. The engagement portion is disposed on the moving body. When the moving body is at the drawn-out position, the grid body is engageable with the engagement portion.
