A cooking apparatus that combines microwave based heating/cooking with either of blender/mixer grinder functionality and traditional cooking using open flame and/or induction cooking is disclosed. The cooking apparatus comprises a lid and at least one microwave producing device coupled to the lid. A lifting and lowering mechanism carries the lid and microwave producing device at a lower end for enabling vertically raising and lowering the lid along with the coupled microwave producing device. Upper end of lifting and lowering mechanism is slidably configured with a lower side of a chimney. Lid in lowered position gets operatively coupled with a container holding a food item. The container can be one for cooking food using conventional source of heat, or a container for preparatory operations such as blending, stirring, grinding and mixing. Coupling of the lid with the containers enables heating of the contents of the container through the microwaves generated by the at least one microwave producing device.

Universal Electronic Oven Heating Functionality Module

Universal electronic oven heating functionality modules and associated methods are disclosed herein. One such module includes an energy steering element, a controller with control logic for the energy steering element, a first means for forming a seal with an opening, and a casing to enclose the controller and the energy steering element. The casing can include top and bottom side elements. One such method includes providing a functionality module with a mounting plate, the first means for forming a seal, and the casing. The method also includes providing an electronic oven with a heating chamber and a second means for forming a seal with the functionality module. The heating chamber can have a first opening for a heating chamber door, and a second opening for functionality module reception. The method also includes engaging the functionality module with the heating chamber to form a seal between the first and second means.

Microwave oven or a multifunctional oven with microwave heating function

A microwave oven or multifunctional oven with microwave heating function. The oven includes a cavity with an open front side and a front frame enclosing at least partially a front portion of the cavity. The cavity and the front frame include metal sheet. The front frame is connected to the cavity by fixing elements. A gap is formed between the cavity and the front frame. The gap encloses at least partially the front portion of the cavity and the front frame encloses the gap. The oven includes a door covering the open front side and the gap in a closed state of the door. The gap is at least partially filled by a gasket at least part of which includes one or more materials having low heat conductivity, so that the front frame is thermally decoupled from the cavity by the part of the gasket or the gap.

Combination microwave and hood system

A combined ventilation and microwave oven system includes an external enclosure with a top portion defining recirculation vent outlets, a cooling air inlet, a cooling air outlet, and an outside vent outlet, first and second side portions, and a bottom portion defining a vent inlet. The vent inlet is connected with the recirculation vent outlets and the outside vent outlet via airflow pathways. A hood assembly is disposed within the external enclosure and includes a first hood fan disposed between the cooking cavity and the first side portion and a second hood fan disposed between the cooking cavity and the second side portion. The hood assembly is configured to direct air through the vent inlet and through an interior of the external enclosure. A cooling fan is disposed between the cooking cavity and the second side portion to direct air through the cooling air inlet and the cooling air outlet.

Microwave household or commercial appliance

A household or commercial appliance includes a couple magnetrons having relative anodes and cathodes, and a power unit comprising a high voltage circuit.
