Enhanced variable control, current sensing drivers with zeta scan
An electronic lighting system with a driver includes transformers that are dedicated to particular lamp receptacles that include interloper diode and resistor sets that fine tune the functioning of the driver. A buck converter and power factor correction, and a zeta scan are included. A comparator circuitry receives an external control signal and compares it to feedback from the output side of the circuitry, and thereby controls a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) circuitry, which cooperates with feedback-based MOSFETs and a MOSFET gate driver circuit. This aids in dimming capabilities, recognizes and corrects for outages and recognizes and corrects for changes in the different size lamps that a user may install.
Electrical load driving apparatus
An electrical load driving apparatus, comprising a current distribution apparatus having a power source arranged to deliver an input current into a plurality of branches such that the input current is distributed into a plurality of individual branch currents, wherein each of the plurality of branches includes an inductive arrangement arranged to form an inductive coupling with an associated inductive arrangement of at least one other associated branch, and a plurality of output loads connect to each of the associated branches of the current distribution apparatus.
High efficiency LED driving method
An arrangement wherein a plurality of LED strings are driven with a balanced drive signal, i.e. a drive signal wherein the positive side and negative side are of equal energy over time, is provided. In a preferred embodiment, the drive signal is balanced responsive to a capacitor provided between a switching network and a driving transformer. Balance of current between various LED strings is provided by a balancing transformer.
Cuttable flexible light engines
Flexible light engines capable of being cut, and methods thereof, are provided. A cuttable flexible light engine includes a flexible strip and strings of solid state light sources coupled in parallel. A voltage balancer establishes a desired current flow through the strings of solid state light sources when the flexible strip is cut to a desired length, and may be part of a connector placed where the strip is cut. The strings may be provided in a first set of strings coupled in parallel between a first conductive path and an intermediate conductive path and a second set of strings coupled in parallel between the intermediated conductive path and a second conductive path. A cuttable flexible light engine may also include test points positioned within the strings.

A light emitting diode (LED) lighting apparatus is provided. The LED lighting apparatus includes a first LED array; a second LED array; a first driving chip configured to receive AC power, and to control the first LED array based on a first control signal; a second driving chip configured to receive the AC power, and to control the second LED array based on a second control signal; a communication device configured to generate the first control signal and the second control signal based on a request from an external device; and an AC/DC converter configured to receive the AC power, and to provide DC power to the communication device.
LED lighting apparatus
An LED lighting apparatus includes a first LED light source and a second LED light source included in a first light source group; a third LED light source and a fourth LED light source included in a second light source group; a mode detection circuit configured to determine a mode; a current control unit for serial and parallel connection of the first light source group and the second light source group; balancing circuits for serial and parallel connection of the respective light source groups; and a current path providing circuit for providing current paths. The LED lighting apparatus performs light emission in various states depending on the change of a rectified voltage and the change of a mode.

CURRENT-LIMITING DRIVER CIRCUIT AND METHOD
A driver circuit comprising an input inductor for receiving an input current provided to the driver circuit, and one or more switchable capacitors. Each switchable capacitor is switchable to connect in parallel across the input inductor and to disconnect from the input inductor, the input inductor and the switchable capacitors together thereby providing a variable impedance corresponding to the number of switchable capacitors are switched to connect to the input inductor, with the variable impedance variably limiting the input current. An associated method and an associated system are also provided.
