GROUND LEAKAGE CURRENT POWER SUPPLY FOR MICROPROCESSOR
A power supply, includes: a hot node coupled to a hot wire of an AC source, and a ground node coupled to an earth ground, where a neutral wire of the source is not present; a storage component, coupled to a return node and in series with a current limiter, where the current limiter enables the storage component to charge to a voltage while limiting leakage current to a prescribed value; a low voltage power supply including a linear voltage regulator, coupled to the storage component and to a return node that provides a reference voltage, where the low voltage power supply receives the voltage and generates an output voltage on an output node that is referenced to the reference voltage; and a microprocessor that employs the output voltage to wake from a low power mode to an active mode.
LED LIGHT WITH DIMMING FUNCTION
The present disclosure relates to a LED light with dimming function, including: a LED light body; a dimming assembly, a control device, and an output unit. The dimming assembly is arranged on the LED light body and adjusts a resistance thereof according to an adjusting signal and/or an operation. The control device is arranged in the LED light body and is electrically connected with the dimming assembly; the control device detects the resistance of the dimming assembly and adjusts an output current according to the resistance of the dimming assembly. The output unit is connected with the control device, receives the output current, and sends the output current to the LED light.
A DRIVER ARRANGEMENT FOR A LED LIGHTING DEVICE, A LIGHTING DEVICE USING THE SAME AND A DRIVE METHOD
A driver arrangement is provided for a LED lighting device with a LED light source and at least one additional auxiliary module. The driver arrangement comprises separate main and auxiliary drivers. The delivery of power from the auxiliary driver is controlled to either an auxiliary power output or to both a main power output and the auxiliary power output. Each driver can be optimized for the load it is required to drive. The device may overall be more efficient in a low power auxiliary mode, by using a driver suited for such low power operation. In particular when the power demand of the LED light source is low, the auxiliary driver may be used.

Driver incorporating a lighting ballast for supplying constant voltage loads
Apparatus and associated methods relate to powering a constant voltage DC load using a rectified output of a lighting ballast. In an illustrative example, the ballast may be configured to operate as a constant-current source. The DC load may, for example, comprise an array of LED strings connected in parallel. The number of LED strings may, for example, be selected to match a power output of the ballast. The number of LEDs in each string may, for example, be selected to match a rectified voltage output range of the ballast. A normally-open thermostat may, for example, be connected in parallel between the ballast and a rectifier and be configured to short-circuit the ballast if the circuit overheats. Various embodiments may advantageously utilize existing power processing functions of an electronic ballast to reduce complexity of a driver circuit for a constant voltage DC source.
Weapon mounted light and operation thereof
A flashlight assembly includes a body having a head portion at one end and an opposing tapered tail portion and a clamping assembly on a bottom side of the body. The tail portion of the body tapers rearwardly towards a tail end thereof and downwardly from an upper side towards the bottom side, such that the tail end of the tail portion merges with the bottom side of the body and forms an inclined contoured surface extending from the bottom side to the top side. A contoured switch is mounted within the inclined angled surface of the tapered tail portion, and includes a safety bail pivotably movable to selectively mechanically impede operation of the switch.
