INFRARED PANEL RADIATOR AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF THE INFRARED PANEL RADIATOR
An infrared panel radiator includes a substrate made of an electrically insulating material. A printed conductor is applied to a surface to the substrate. The printed conductor is made of an electrically conductive resistor material that generates heat when current flows through it. A process for producing the infrared panel radiator includes: (a) providing the substrate; and (b) applying the printed conductor to a surface of the substrate. To produce an infrared radiator that features homogeneous radiation emission at high radiation power per unit area, the substrate is manufactured from a composite material including an amorphous matrix component and an additional component in the form of a semiconductor material. The printed conductor is provided as a form part with a fixed geometric shape. The printed conductor is applied to the surface of the substrate such that the printed conductor and the substrate are permanently connected to each other.
Electric fluid flow heater with stabilisation brace
An electric heater to heat a flow of a fluid having a jacket block comprising a plurality of longitudinal bores to allow the through-flow of a gas phase medium. An elongate heating element extends through each of the bores that together with the jacket block define a heating assembly to heat the gas. The heating assembly is positionally stabilised within the electric heater via at least one brace configured to inhibit undesirable independent axial and/or lateral movement of the heating assembly within the electric heater.
Heatable luminaire cover
A method for producing a heatable luminaire cover is described. The heatable luminaire cover has: a polymeric main body, a first busbar, a second busbar and at least two conductor tracks on the inside of the polymeric main body.
Cylindrical heater
A heater assembly is disclosed herein. The heater assembly may comprise a tubular body. The tubular body may include a graphite core disposed in a heating path. The graphite core may be coated with an overcoat layer. The tubular body may include slits that may cut-off heat transfer between portions of the tubular body. The heater assembly may have a configuration comprising a plurality of heating rungs having a predominant portion disposed substantially perpendicular to an upper surface of the heater so that the predominant portion is disposed vertically. The heater assembly may include a flange at a first end and a lip at a second end. The heater assembly configuration provides a heater that exhibits reduced thermal stress and/or reduced CTE mismatch stress particularly compared to other designs.
HEATING SYSTEM INCLUDING CONDUCTIVE THREADS ACTING AS CAPACITIVE-BASED PROXIMITY SENSOR AND ATTACHING HEATING WIRE TO SUBSTRATE
A heater/sensor assembly is configured to perform heating and proximity sensing and includes a heater carrier substrate including first and second surfaces. A heater wire is arranged in a predetermined pattern adjacent to and in contact with the first surface of the heater carrier substrate, wherein the heater wire is insulated. A proximity sensor includes a conductive thread attaching the heater wire to the first surface of the heater carrier substrate.
HEATED STORAGE DEVICE
A portable, lightweight, insulated, and heated storage device is provided. The heated storage device is movable between a closed condition adapted to maintain stored items therein at a predetermined temperature and an open condition for externally radiating heat. In one embodiment, the heated storage device may be a heating sack adapted to unfurl from the closed condition storing a sleeping bag or the like to the open condition as a flat, heated blanket, externally radiating heat.
Heating panel and method therefor
A radiant heating panel, for typical use as cover for interior walls and ceilings, is provided, that is manufactured in a continuous process involving at least one sheet material, a settable material and a heating element. A method of installing such a heating panel is also provided, along with an apparatus and method required to terminate the heating panel.
HEATING ELEMENT FOR A COOKING APPLIANCE
A heating element for a cooking appliance includes terminals that act as electrically conductive contact points. One or more buses are arranged between the terminals, and connect one or more heating element segments in a zig-zag configuration. The heating element segments are connected in series and are arranged parallel with one another. Each heating element segment includes a plurality of cutouts linked together and having an elliptical shape. The terminals, heating element segments, and buses are a continuous single sheet of conductive material. A method of making the heating element includes forming a pattern into the sheet of conductive material by etching the pattern into the conductive sheet using photolithography.
RESISTIVE ELEMENT APPLIED TO HEATING EQUIPMENT
A resistive element applied to heating equipment significantly increases the efficiency and savings in heating equipment such as hair drying equipment and other similar equipment. A resistive element has at least one flat and aligned profile resistive element mounted in a wave-shaped format. At least one support structure with four radial vanes is mounted and houses, aside from the resistive element units, the respective connection terminals, a thermostat, and required electrical wires.
OPERATING SYSTEM FOR A COOKING APPLIANCE
A cooking appliance, system, and method use one or more split-surface-area radiative heating elements and may also use one or more additional heating elements, such as microwave and convection heating elements, to heat or cook food. The radiative heating elements are used in a cooking chamber having an improved geometry. A controller includes features to adaptively learn and adjust cooking recipes based on modifications and user ratings of a particular cooking recipe or based on learning in response to analysis of modifications and user ratings of plural cooking recipes. The controller may learn from ratings of other users of similar cooking appliances via a network connection.
