ELECTROPLATING EDGE CONNECTOR PINS OF PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS WITHOUT USING TIE BARS
A method for forming a printed circuit board includes: forming on a substrate a first conductive layer for a first edge connector pin and a first conductive layer for a second edge connector pin, wherein the first conductive layer for the first edge connector pin and the first conductive layer for the second edge connector pin are electrically coupled to one another via a first conductive layer for an electrical bridging element; electroplating a second conductive layer onto both the first conductive layer for the first edge connector pin and the first conductive layer for the second edge connector pin via a plating current conductor; and removing at least a portion of the electrical bridging element to electrically separate the first edge connector pin from the second edge connector pin.
Dual conductor laminated substrate
A method for manufacturing a dual conductor laminated substrate includes providing a first laminate including a first insulating layer and a first conductive layer; defining a first trace pattern including one or more traces in the first laminate; providing a second laminate including a second insulating layer and a second conductive layer; defining a second trace pattern including one or more traces in the second laminate; defining access holes in the second insulating layer; at least one of depositing and stenciling a conductive material in the access holes of the second insulating layer; and aligning and attaching the first laminate to the second laminate to create a laminated substrate.

A method for manufacturing a dual conductor laminated substrate includes providing a first laminate including a first insulating layer and a first conductive layer; defining a first trace pattern including one or more traces in the first laminate; providing a second laminate including a second insulating layer and a second conductive layer; defining a second trace pattern including one or more traces in the second laminate; defining access holes in the second insulating layer; at least one of depositing and stenciling a conductive material in the access holes of the second insulating layer; and aligning and attaching the first laminate to the second laminate to create a laminated substrate.
Resistive PCB traces for improved stability
A method of running a printed circuit board (PCB) trace on a PCB. The PCB comprising a plurality of PCB layers. The method comprising forming a conductive trace on at least one of the plurality of PCB layers; coupling a first portion of the conductive trace to a capacitor formed on at least one of the plurality of PCB layers; coupling a second portion, different from the first portion, of the conductive trace to a conductive material formed within a first via extending through two or more of the plurality of PCB layers; and configurably setting a length of a conductive path of the conductive trace according to a predetermined impedance. The capacitor is separated laterally in a plan view at a first distance from the first via. The length of the conductive trace in the plan view is greater than the first distance. The conductive path of the conductive trace of the length has the predetermined impedance.
Resistive PCB traces for improved stability
A method of running a printed circuit board (PCB) trace on a PCB. The PCB comprising a plurality of PCB layers. The method comprising forming a conductive trace on at least one of the plurality of PCB layers; coupling a first portion of the conductive trace to a capacitor formed on at least one of the plurality of PCB layers; coupling a second portion, different from the first portion, of the conductive trace to a conductive material formed within a first via extending through two or more of the plurality of PCB layers; and configurably setting a length of a conductive path of the conductive trace according to a predetermined impedance. The capacitor is separated laterally in a plan view at a first distance from the first via. The length of the conductive trace in the plan view is greater than the first distance. The conductive path of the conductive trace of the length has the predetermined impedance.
METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR ALIGNMENT OF LENS TO OPTICAL PRODUCT AT PCBA LEVEL
An optical package includes: a Printed Circuit Board including a plurality of cut-out sections; a lens, including a first plurality of protrusions corresponding respectively to the plurality of cut-out sections, wherein when the lens is placed under the PCB, the protrusions will pass through the cut-out sections; and a sensor for attaching on to the lens and the PCB. The first plurality of protrusions has a shape from the group including: snap features, guide posts and guide posts with tight-fit ribs.
TRANSFER INCLUDING AN ELECTRICAL COMPONENT
A conductive transfer and method of producing the conductive transfer is described. The conductive transfer comprises two non-conductive layers and a conductive layer between the two non-conductive layers and at least one electrical component in electrical communication with the conductive layer. The conductive layer includes a power trace for providing a power source to the electrical component and a data trace for providing the electrical component with an electrical signal.
AIR FLOW RATE MEASUREMENT DEVICE
A housing includes a measurement passage through which a part of air flowing in a main passage flows. A sensor assembly is fixed on the housing and includes a circuit board. A detection element configured to output a signal in response to a flow rate of air flowing in the measurement passage and an electronic component configured to drive the detection element are mounted on the circuit board. An outer edge of the circuit board has a fractured part with a fractured shape and a cut part having a surface roughness smaller than that of the fractured part. The fractured part at the outer edge of the circuit board is not arranged in the measurement passage but provided at a position excluding the measurement passage.

The frame assembly may include: a frame including an upper surface, a first side surface connected to a first end of the upper surface and a second side surface connected to a second end of the upper surface, the frame being configured to enclose the plurality of battery cells; a plurality of first bus bars disposed on the first side surface; a plurality of second bus bars disposed on the second side surface; and a flexible printed circuit board disposed along the upper surface, the first side surface, and the second side surface of the frame, the flexible printed circuit board being configured to sense the plurality of battery cells.
