A camera module includes an image sensor IC including terminal electrodes, and a circuit board on which the image sensor IC is mounted. The circuit board includes mount electrodes to which the terminal electrodes are ultrasonically welded, a flat film member provided with the mount electrodes, and a base member to which the flat film member is bonded. An elastic modulus of the flat film member is higher than that of the base member.

The manufacturing method includes (a) preparing first printed circuit board and second printed circuit board, the first printed circuit board being provided with a plurality of first terminals, the second printed circuit board being provided with a plurality of second terminals, and the first terminals or the second terminals being coated with solders; and (b) connecting the first terminals and the second terminals, respectively, via respective solders by performing thermocompression on connecting portions of the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board. Each second terminal includes a first end portion and a second end portion in a long axis direction, and in the step (b), pressure is applied to each second terminal such that the height of each of the first end portion and second end portion is larger than the height in another portion of the second terminal.

A display apparatus includes a first base substrate defining: an outer edge thereof at which a side surface is exposed, and an upper surface thereof connected to the outer edge; first and second guiding dams on the upper surface and extending from an inside of the first base substrate to the outer edge; a first signal line on the upper surface and extending between the first and second guiding dams from the inside of the first base substrate to the outer edge thereof; and a first side pad connected to the first signal line. The first side pad includes a first horizontal portion on the upper surface and extending between the first and second guiding dams, in a top plan view, and the first horizontal portion extending to define a first vertical portion which is disposed on the side surface.
ELECTRICAL CONTACT PAD FOR ELECTRICALLY CONTACTING A CONNECTOR
An electrical contact pad for electrically contacting a connector includes a first region having a first length in a longitudinal direction, and a second region having a second length in the longitudinal direction that is greater than the first length. The first region is arranged to contact a first arm of the connector and the second region is arranged to contact a second arm of the connector. The first length being smaller than the second length results in an increase in the impedance of the electrical contact pad as compared to typical contact pads which tend to correspond to low impedance regions.
Printed board and image forming apparatus
The printed board includes a slit portion and a first conductive member that is provided straddling the slit portion. In a state in which the printed board is attached to an apparatus to which one end of a second conductive member having an elastic force is connected, another end of the second conductive member contacts the first conductive member, and the another end of the second conductive member passes through the slit portion.

Disclosed is an electronic card, in the form of a flexible smart card provided with a flexible circuit, that includes a bottom face receiving electronic components and a top face provided with contact tabs intended to be connected to conductive tracks of a garment textile. The flexible circuit being covered on its bottom face with at least one bottom layer of bonding adhesive, first polymer layers provided with cutouts for receiving components and second polymer layers for encapsulating the components, and covered on its top face with a top layer of bonding adhesive and at least one top layer forming an outer face of the card made from polymer material provided with cutouts for accessing the contact tabs, in which at least some of the contact tabs are produced on the rim of the card and provided with an end part on the edge of the card.

There are provided a printed circuit board including: an insulation layer in which a via hole is formed; vias formed in the via hole; first circuit patterns formed below the insulation layer and electrically connected to the vias; and second circuit patterns formed on the insulation layer to be bonded to the vias; wherein the via has a diameter smaller than that of the via hole, and a method of manufacturing a printed circuit board.

The present disclosure provides circuits and methods for fabricating circuits. A circuit may include an insulator having a first surface, a second surface, a periphery, a first subset of circuit elements disposed on the first surface, a second subset of circuit elements disposed on the second surface, and at least one conductive sidewall disposed on the periphery, wherein the conductive sidewall electrically couples the first subset of circuit elements to the second subset of circuit elements.

Package structure with interconnection between chips and packaging method thereof
A packaging method includes steps of: forming first and second wiring layers electrically connected to each other on two opposite surfaces of a substrate; then configuring mother substrate interconnecting bumps on the first wiring layer and along perimeter of a daughter substrate unit, and then cutting along the perimeter of the daughter substrate unit to expose lateral faces of the mother substrate interconnecting bumps and configuring solder materials thereon; then configuring first and second chips on the first and the second wiring layers to form electrical interconnection between the two chips. A package structure enables interconnecting two chips through one single daughter substrate unit with its wiring layers directly connecting with lateral face contacts of the mother carrier substrate through the mother substrate interconnecting bumps. Hence, area of the daughter substrate unit is reduced; lengths of the interconnection paths are shortened, and qualities of communication and space utilization are enhanced.
