A control unit is provided, in particular a transmission control unit, which is designed to be attached to an outer side or to an inner side of a housing, in particular to a transmission housing, wherein the control unit comprises a circuit board as well as at least one plug which is arranged on the circuit board and whose pins are connected to corresponding conducting paths of the circuit board, which is arranged in such a way that it reaches into an opening within the housing and to produce an electrical and/or signal connection between the outer side and the inner side of the housing via conducting paths that are arranged on the circuit board, wherein an overmolding is enclosing at least the circuit board and the plug(s).
Transmission control device, in particular for a motor vehicle, and method for producing an electrical-connector housing
A transmission control device, in particular for a motor vehicle, includes a circuit board element, and an electrical-connector housing. The circuit board element has electronic components. The electrical-connector housing is configured to receive an electrical connector, and to electrically connect the electrical connector to the circuit board element. The electrical-connector housing substantially consists of a thermoset material, and partially encloses the circuit board element via direct contact in an integrally bonded fashion.
PRESSURE BULKHEAD STRUCTURE WITH INTEGRATED SELECTIVE ELECTRONIC SWITCH CIRCUITRY
Pressure-isolating bulkhead structures with integrated selective electronic switches circuitry are provided. The pressure-isolating bulkhead structure may be a single unit having the integrated electronic switch circuitry, as well as an electrical connector that includes at least one of a wire and a pin contact. Such integrated selective electronic switch circuitry may be fashioned within a self-contained, inner pressure-isolating enclosure body. Such inner pressure-isolating enclosure body may be produced about the selective electronic switch circuitry such that the inner pressure-isolating enclosure body and switch circuitry are produced as a unit, which can be easily placed within a variety of bulkhead structures, and subsequently within a perforating gun.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a first plate, a second plate facing in a direction opposite to that of the first plate, and a side member enclosing a space between the first plate and the second plate and formed with a method of solidifying a resin including a predetermined amount of rigidity reinforcing material injected into an injection mold and including a plurality of side surfaces, and a gate mark receiving portion formed in each of the plurality of side surfaces of the side member and configured to receive at least one gate mark according to separation of the injection mold. The gate mark receiving portion is formed by a processing portion disposed at a corresponding position inside a cavity of the injection mold.
VENTED CAPACITOR MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR AIRBAG ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER UNIT
A mounting structure for mounting an electrolytic capacitor on a printed circuit board (PCB) of an airbag electronic control unit (ECU) includes a cap for receiving a lead end of the capacitor. The cap includes openings for receiving electrical leads of the capacitor. The cap supports electrical connectors, which electrically contact the electrical leads when a lead end of the capacitor is installed in the cap. The electrical connectors include portions for interfacing with the PCB to electrically connect the electrical connectors to the PCB. The cap also includes a vent that provides fluid communication from inside the cap to outside the cap. The vent is configured to vent dielectric liquids and gases discharged from the lead end of the capacitor during thermal cycles and/or charging cycles of the capacitor.

A control unit for an apparatus, the control unit comprising: a component-carrying member provided with at least one electronic component configured to provide a function of the apparatus; wherein the component-carrying member is formed of a material that is pliable at least during assembly of the control unit; and a laminate encapsulation layer encapsulating at least a part of the or each electronic component. Optionally, the control unit comprises a second member which defines a user-interaction surface.

A connector device that includes a circuit board; a connector attached to the circuit board; a plurality of collars for external attachment; a first molded resin that is made of a first resin material whose melting point or softening point is 230 C. or less, and covers the entire circuit board and part of the connector; and a second molded resin that is welded to the first molded resin, is made of a second resin material whose melting point or softening point is higher than that of the first resin material for the first molded resin, and covers outer circumferences of the collars.
