A surge protective device (SPD) includes a first electrical terminal, a second electrical terminal, and an overvoltage protection circuit connected between the first and second electrical terminals. The overvoltage protection circuit includes a gas discharge tube and a current management circuit connected in series to the gas discharge tube. The current management circuit includes a varistor and a resistor that are connected in parallel between a first node of the current management circuit and a second node of the current management circuit.
PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE CASE
Systems and methods for protecting an electronic device are described. Embodiments of the systems and methods may include a zipper extending along at least a first side and a second side of the protective case, a zipper slider configured to be located along the second side when the zipper is fully closed, an inner flap that extends in a first direction parallel to the first side from the second side to a third side of the protective case opposite the second side, and an extension of the inner flap adjacent to the second side, wherein the extension extends in a second direction parallel to the second side such that a width of the inner flap adjacent to the second side is greater than a width of the inner flap adjacent to the third side.
Modular hybrid circuit packaging
An electronics package includes a platform and a board mounted to the platform, the board having electronics mounted thereon. A feedthrough pin passes through and is hermetically sealed to a feedthrough body and is wire bonded to the board. A cover is bonded to and surrounds the exterior surface of the feedthrough body to produce a hermetically sealed chamber that houses the platform and the board.
HOUSING WITH A VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR A CONTROL DEVICE
A housing for a control device, including: a cover; a base element which is connected in a leaktight manner to the cover; and a closable opening to allow ventilation during assembly of the housing. Also described are a related brake control device, a utility vehicle, and a method.
Element of an electric equipment casing, in particular comprising U-shaped magnetic parts
The invention relates to a casing element of a first equipment, said casing element being configured to house at least one electrical conductor configured to receive an electric current, said casing element being notable in that it comprises a pair of slots provided in a wall of the casing element, the pair of slots comprising a slot on either side of a reception area configured to house said electrical conductor, and said pair of slots being provided to allow the insertion of a part with a U-shaped section, comprising a base and two arms parallel to one another and orthogonal to the base, said arms being configured to be inserted in said slots on either side of said reception area, so that the part is able to guide a magnetic flux generated by an electric current circulating in said electrical conductor.
Electronic device
An electronic device includes chip components, a terminal connection body, conductive terminals, and a support member. Each of the chip components has a pair of end surfaces on which terminal electrodes are formed. The terminal connection body connects the terminal electrodes on one side of the chip components arranged next to each other in a parallel direction to the end surfaces. Each of the conductive terminals includes a connection part and a mount part. The connection part is connected with the terminal electrode of either of the chip components located on both ends of the chip components connected in series via the terminal connection body. The mount part faces the connection part and is connected with a mount board. The support member is disposed between the connection parts and the mount parts. The chip components are arranged so that the end surfaces face the mount board.
Micro power distribution boxes and methods of manufacturing same using application specific electronics packaging techniques
A micro power distribution box is provided which includes a device, a connector/housing and a cover. The device has a substrate, at least one first finger, at least one second finger, and at least one electrical component. The at least one first finger and the at least one second finger are electrically connected to one another. The at least one first finger has first, second and third portions. The at least one second finger has first and second portions. The substrate is overmolded to the first portions of the at least one first and second fingers. The substrate is not overmolded to the second portions of the at least one first and second fingers or to the third portion of the at least one first finger. The second portions of the at least one first and second fingers extend outwardly from the substrate. The second portion of the at least one first finger is a high current contact. The second portion of the at least one second finger is a contact pin. The third portion of the at least one first finger is exposed via an aperture provided through the substrate. The at least one electrical component is directly mounted to the third portion of the at least one first finger in order to electrically connect the at least one electrical component to the at least one first finger. The connector/housing is configured to house the device therein and is configured to be connected to a mating connector. The cover is configured to be secured to the connector/housing in a manner which prevents the device from being removed from the connector/housing.
ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT BOARD AND ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT DEVICE
A circuit board (3) is provided with a first rigid part (11) having a power system electronic component mounted thereon, a second rigid part (12) having a control system electronic component mounted thereon, and a thin flexible part (13) connecting the first and second rigid parts to each other.
