An attachment assembly joining a fuse box and battery tray includes a fuse box having a mounting structure having a fuse bottom surface including a retainer structure joined therewith. The retainer structure includes a cylindrical boss having an attachment wall disposed within the cylindrical boss. A cutout is formed in the cylindrical boss. A battery tray includes a tray bottom surface. The tray bottom surface includes a mating structure including a pair of spaced annular walls extending therefrom defining a gap. Each of the annular walls includes notches formed therein. A J-nut is positioned in the cut out of the cylindrical boss and over an edge of the attachment wall retaining the J-nut on the attachment wall. The cylindrical boss is disposed between the pair of spaced annular walls in the gap and the cutout is aligned with the notches. The J-nut is positioned in the cut out and the notches rotatively aligning the battery tray relative to the fuse box.

CONTROL AND POWER MODULE FOR BRUSHLESS MOTOR

A power tool including an electric motor is provided. The tool includes a substantially disc-shaped printed circuit board (PCB), power switches mounted on the PCB; magnetic sensors mounted on the PCB facing the motor; a heat sink in thermal communication with the power switches disposed between the PCB and the electric motor; and a molded casing structurally securing the heat sink relative to the PCB. The molded casing includes a center opening, at least one first opening provided at a first radial distance from the center opening arranged to receive the magnetic sensors therein, and at least one second opening provided at a second radial distance from the center opening arranged to securely receive the heat sink therein.

The main plate is slidably on the fixing member so that the restricting protrusion is slidable in the through slot along second axis which is nonparallel to the first axis. The assembling assembly includes main body and assembling protrusion. The assembling protrusion protrudes from the main body and in the through slot so as to be restricted in the restricting section or released from the releasing section. When the assembling protrusion is located in the restricting section, and the restricting protrusion is located in the through slot, the assembling protrusion is restricted to be in the restricting section so that the assembling assembly is fixed to the frame.

PROTECTIVE GUARD FOR RESTRAINTS CONTROL MODULE

A guard for a restraints control module includes a corrugated base and right and left corrugated sidewalls. The sidewalls extend above the base and are spaced from a restraints control module secured to the base. The sidewalls diverge from each other in a vertical direction above the base and include alternating furrows and ridges that form the corrugations. The furrows and ridges are connected by rib walls that strengthen the guard against lateral collision forces. A method is disclosed for protecting a restraints control module in a side impact collision. According to the method, in a side impact collision, an object driven into the guard bends the sidewall towards the restraints control module to absorb the impact force applied by the object.

A bracket and restraints control module assembly attached to the tunnel in the floor of a vehicle. The bracket includes a base plate and an intermediate plate supporting the restraints control module. The intermediate plate defines a plurality of holes and is secured by a limited slip connector assembly that extend through laterally elongated slots defined by the base plate and holes in the intermediate plate, respectively. The connector assembly is tightened to a predetermined level of torque so that the intermediate plate can slide relative to the base plate on upper and lower slide surfaces when a collision force of sufficient magnitude is applied to the bracket and RCM assembly.
