SENSOR, METHOD AND SENSOR ARRANGEMENT
A sensor including a system-in-package module, wherein electrical contacts can be contact-connected by way of a mating connector. An associated method and an associated sensor arrangement are also disclosed.
SHOCK-ISOLATED MOUNTING DEVICE WITH A THERMALLY-CONDUCTIVE LINK
A shock-isolated mounting device and a method and system are provided. For example, the shock-isolated mounting device includes an enclosure configured to support the mounting device, at least one damper attached between the mounting device and the enclosure, and a thermally-conductive element disposed on a surface of the mounting device and configured to thermally couple the mounting device to the enclosure. The thermally-conductive element facilitates the dissipation of heat generated by electronic components mounted onto the shock-isolated mounting device.
PACKAGE SEALING STRUCTURE, DEVICE PACKAGE, AND PACKAGE SEALING METHOD
A package sealing structure is provided wherein a narrow neck of a through-hole formed in a package member is closed with substance that has been produced from melting of an outer side of the package member and then has solidified, and the narrow neck is narrower than an opening of the thorough-hole that has been enlarged by the melting.
Head mounted computing device, adhesive joint system and method
An adhesive joint system comprises a circuit board with a distal end and a proximal end mounted on a first side via a tongue and groove connection to a housing. An adhesive is positioned at least in the gap surrounding the tongue, and an electrical component mounted to the distal end on a second side of the circuit board that is opposite the first side. The respective coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE) of the tongue, adhesive, and the material defining the groove are related, such that as heat is applied to the tongue and groove connection, the adhesive is compressed within the gap.
Device for controlling personal protection means and method for producing a device for controlling personal protection means
An apparatus for activating a personal protection arrangement for a vehicle, including a housing, at least one circuit board, and at least one electrical or electronic component, the circuit board having at least one layer for shielding electromagnetic radiation, the circuit board being positioned in the housing in such a way that when the apparatus is mounted in the vehicle, the circuit board shields the electromagnetic radiation that is emitted by the at least one electrical or electronic component at least with respect to the interior of the vehicle. And to a method for manufacturing such an apparatus.
HIGH FREQUENCY ACCELEROMETER HOUSING
An apparatus includes a housing base and a circuit board. The housing base contains a cavity, a boss containing a mounting bore, and a support pad connected to the boss. The circuit board is positioned in the cavity so that an accelerometer carried by the circuit board is disposed directly above the support pad.
Athermalized mounting of inertial measurement unit
Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are configured with an athermalized mounting suitable for securing and positioning and the PCBs within an inertial measurement unit (IMU). The PCBs include integrated circuit (IC) components, such as accelerometers and/or gyroscopes, which require relative positional stability within the IMU environment in order to provide accurate results. The athermalized mounting configuration of the PCB enables the PCBs to experience thermal expansion within the IMU without causing significant displacement of the IC relative to the IMU environment.
Package
A package includes: a semiconductor element; a case having an opening and housing the semiconductor element; and a lid having a rectangular parallelepiped shape and occluding the opening of the case. In the package, the lid is joined to an end portion of the opening of the case, and includes a bent portion surrounded by a portion joining the lid to the case and extending along a longitudinal side of the lid.
BOARD FIXING STRUCTURE
A board fixing structure includes: a resin-made holder; a metal-made terminal held by the holder; and a circuit board connected to the terminal, in which the terminal has a proximal end portion, a fixing portion extending from the proximal end portion and fixedly soldered to the circuit board, and a support portion extending from the proximal end portion and coming into contact with a rear surface of the circuit board so as to support the circuit board, and the fixing portion and the support portion are separated from each other in a plane direction of the circuit board.
SENSOR COVER
An assembly includes: (a) a sensor including a bolt connector, an anti-rotator configured to snap-fit into a recess, and rails; (b) a cover including a plurality of slots configured to receive the rails and being sized to leave a portion of the bolt connector laterally exposed when finally positioned on the sensor.
