Measurement device and method of its operation
A measurement device, such as a power meter or power submeter, may comprise a frame disposed in a housing dividing an interior volume of the housing into a first volume and a second volume. An external power source is connected to the device in the first volume and the frame may serve as an insulative barrier between the first volume and an exterior it and the housing. The device may alternatively, or additional include, an user interface assembly that is configured to mounted in a same orientation regardless of an orientation of the device or housing of a device relative to the external power source.
High tolerance connection between elements
This is directed to connecting two or more elements using an intermediate element constructed from a material that changes between states. An electronic device can include one or more components constructed by connecting several elements. To provide a connection having a reduced or small size or cross-section and construct a component having high tolerances, a material can be provided in a first state in which it flows between the elements before changing to a second state in which it adheres to the elements and provides a structurally sound connection. For example, a plastic can be molded between the elements. As another example, a composite material can be brazed between the elements. In some cases, internal surfaces of the elements can include one or more features for enhancing a bond between the elements and the material providing the interface between the elements.
ROUTING OF TRANSMISSION MEDIA THROUGH ROTATABLE COMPONENTS
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a gimbal assembly is described for use with an image capturing device. The gimbal assembly includes a motor assembly, a first housing defining an internal compartment that is configured and dimensioned to receive the motor assembly, and a second housing that is mechanically connected to the motor assembly such that actuation of the motor assembly causes relative rotation between the first and second housings. The first housing includes a first guide that is configured and dimensioned to support transmission media adapted to communicate electrical and/or digital signals. The second housing defines a channel that is configured and dimensioned to receive the first guide such that the first guide extends into the second housing through the channel. The transmission media is supported on the first guide such that the first guide routes the transmission media from the first housing into the second housing.
INVERTER
An inverter includes a case, and the case includes an upper case and a lower case attached to a bottom surface side of the upper case. The upper case includes a flange portion constituting an attachment portion of the lower case, and a connector connecting portion to which a connector is connected. The connector connecting portion includes an outer wall portion that forms an outer wall of the connector connecting portion. At least a part of the flange portion and at least a part of the outer wall portion are disposed so as to overlap each other in a direction in which the connector connecting portion and the structure face each other.
Sealing System for Telecommunication Closures
A sealing system for a telecommunication closure includes an endcap having a plurality of slotted areas defined therein; and a plurality of sealing segment assemblies mounted to the endcap that when combined form a substantially continuous sealing perimeter around the endcap. Each sealing segment assembly is disposed in one of the plurality of slotted areas and includes an inner segment and an outer segment that when mated together are configured to seal at least one cable routed through a cable port opening.
HIGH POWER MULTILAYER MODULE HAVING LOW INDUCTANCE AND FAST SWITCHING FOR PARALLELING POWER DEVICES
A power module including at least one substrate, a housing arranged on the at least one power substrate, a first terminal electrically connected to the at least one power substrate, a second terminal including a contact surface, a third terminal electrically connected to the at least one power substrate, a plurality of power devices arranged on and connected to the at least one power substrate, and the third terminal being electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of power devices. The power module further including a base plate and a plurality of pin fins arranged on the base plate and the plurality of pin fins configured to provide direct cooling for the power module.
ADJUSTABLE AIR BLOCKS FOR CABLE ROUTING
An adjustable air block for routing cables includes a housing, a first inner plate, and a second inner plate. The housing includes a central gate extending between a top end and a bottom end thereof. The first inner plate and the second inner plate are fastened at the top end of the housing. The first inner plate includes a first vertical portion adjustably coupled to a left edge of the central gate along a first inner surface. The second inner plate includes a second vertical portion adjustably coupled to a right edge of the central gate along a second inner surface.
MULTI-AXIS POWER CONNECTION AND ROUTING
Configurations for rack connection systems are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, an adapter for a component plug includes a rotation component to enable rotation of at least a portion of the component plug about at least two axes.
Wall mounted utility cabinet
A utility cabinet includes a housing having an interior compartment, a rear wall, a top wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, a front opening, and a side opening. A frame is connected to the housing and moveable between a first position where the frame is entirely in the housing and a second position where at least a portion of the frame is outside of the housing. The frame is configured to receive one or more utility components. A front door is connected to the housing and moveable between a closed position covering the front opening and an open position providing access to the front opening. A side door is connected to the housing and moveable between a closed position covering the side opening and an open position providing access to the side opening.
Electronic device extending sensing area
An electronic device includes a housing including a first cover member, a second cover member, and a side member enclosing a space between the first cover member and the second cover member; a support member coupled to or formed integrally with the side member; a printed circuit board disposed in the space and including a biometric circuit; a first conductive portion disposed at least partially in the side member; a second conductive portion and third conductive portion disposed at least partially in the second cover member and electrically connected to the printed circuit board; and at least one conductive path disposed in the space, configured to electrically connect the biometric circuit and the first conductive portion, and formed on the support member. The biometric circuit receives a biometric signal based on the first conductive portion, the second conductive portion, the third conductive portion, and the at least one conductive path.
