PROCESS FOR CREATING SUB-SURFACE MARKING ON PLASTIC PARTS
20180345708 · 2018-12-06 ·

Techniques or processes for providing markings on products are disclosed. In one embodiment, the products have housings and the markings are to be provided on sub-surfaces of the housings. For example, a housing for a particular product can include an outer housing surface and the markings can be provided on a sub-surface of the outer housing surface yet still be visible from the outside of the housing. Since the markings are beneath the surface of the housing, the markings are durable.

Mounting assembly for an electronic device

A mounting assembly for an electronic device associated with a machine includes a housing including an interior space adapted to receive the one or more components of the electronic device. The mounting assembly also includes a housing printed circuit board having a first row of pins and a second row of pins. The mounting assembly further includes a harness for allowing interface between the electronic device and the machine. The harness is configured to be connected to the housing in a first orientation or a second orientation. The harness includes a cable and a connecting member provided at one end of the cable. The harness also includes a harness printed circuit board having a first row of pins and a second row of pins. The harness printed circuit board is configured to connect with the housing printed circuit board in any one of the first orientation or the second orientation.

Electrical interface module

The object of the invention is an electrical interface module. The electrical interface module has a memory device for storing data and an integrated NFC interface that provides data to an external reading device, wherein the electrical interface module contains a carrier on which the memory device and the integrated NFC interface are arranged.

ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING AN ELECTRICAL APPLIANCE

An electrical appliance includes electronic components which are enclosed by a housing. A marking or label relating to a disassembly of the electrical appliance is applied to the housing. In the process of disassembling the appliance, disassembly instructions are obtained from a database and the device is disassembled and sorted.

NAMEPLATE MOUNTING STRUCTURE

An information handling system may include a processor and a flag assembly comprising a flag and an actuator mechanically coupled to the flag and communicatively coupled to the processor, and configured to receive control signals from the processor to mechanically translate the flag between an activated position in which the flag is visually perceptible to a user external to the information handling system and a deactivated position in which the flag is visually imperceptible to the user.

Information handling system housing interior illumination

An information handling system housing has an opening at one side with a transparent cover through which processing components of the information handling system are visible. A member rotationally couples in the housing interior across the opening in a spaced parallel relationship with an upper side of the opening and includes lights that direct illumination from an interior side of the member towards the processing components. In one embodiment, the member has a logo opening that passes light through to illuminate a logo, or alternatively the logo may have its own illumination to present at the front face. In an alternative embodiment, the member has a display panel that presents visual images, such as operating conditions of the processing components. The member rotates out of the interior and up above the opening upper side to provide end user access to the housing interior.
