WATERPROOF CASE FOR AUTOMOBILE COMPONENTS

A waterproof case for automobile components includes: a case body part that includes a storage space for housing an object and an opening connecting to the storage space; and a lid part that is configured to be attached to the case body part to close the opening. A seal material (made of an adhesive silicone gel is interposed between the case body part and the lid part. An acceptance part is provided in at least one of the case body part and the lid part. An engagement convex part is configured to be locked in the acceptance part at a position corresponding to the acceptance part in the case body part and the lid part.

Cable bushing

A cable bushing is disclosed for placement into a control housing surrounding a printed circuit board. The cable bushing includes a bushing housing comprising a locating surface, fastening means for fastening the bushing housing to the control housing, and retainers for at least two cables which are to be electrically connected to the printed circuit board. To facilitate the assembly of the cable bushing, the cable bushing housing is provided with contact elements that protrude from its front face, that are embodied to be adapted for plug contacting the printed circuit board, and that are electrically connected to the associated cables within the bushing housing. Also disclosed is the combination of a control housing and cable bushing and a printed circuit board housed in the control housing.

An electronic control device 10 includes a circuit board 13 and first and second members 14, 15. Various electronic components are mounted on the circuit board. The first member has the circuit board attached thereto, and has a groove 14a in the periphery of an attachment part for the circuit board. The second member has a protrusion 15a to be placed in the groove. The groove and the protrusion are joined with first adhesive to form an internal space and a casing that accommodates the circuit board. Retention parts 18-1,18-2 that retain excess adhesive are provided in the groove in the first member. Each of the retention parts opens into an inner side wall of the groove.

An orthogonal projection of the bonding region on the driving substrate overlaps an orthogonal projection of the first section on the driving substrate.

A housing includes a body having an opening. The body includes a peripheral portion that abuts on the opening. A cover covers at least a part of the opening. A seal is sandwiched between the cover and the peripheral portion of the body. At least one of the cover and the peripheral portion of the body includes a corner portion and a linear portion. The corner portion has a first shape that defines one of a gap between the cover and the peripheral portion of the body and a width of the seal. The linear portion abuts on the corner portion. The linear portion has a second shape that defines the one of the gap between the cover and the peripheral portion of the body and the width of the seal. The second shape is different from the first shape of the corner portion.

Electrically Isolated Heat Dissipating Junction Box

A junction box used for making electrical connections to a photovoltaic panel. The junction box has two chambers including a first chamber and a second chamber and a wall common to and separating both chambers. The wall may be adapted to have an electrical connection therethrough. The two lids are adapted to seal respectively the two chambers. The two lids are on opposite sides of the junction box relative to the photovoltaic panel. The two lids may be attachable using different sealing processes to a different level of hermeticity. The first chamber may be adapted to receive a circuit board for electrical power conversion. The junction box may include supports for mounting a printed circuit board in the first chamber. The second chamber is configured for electrical connection to the photovoltaic panel. A metal heat sink may be bonded inside the first chamber.
