An assembly includes a housing which includes a plurality of walls defining an interior space. An electronic device is located within the interior space. At least one passage extends through a first wall of the plurality of walls. A membrane is located on an interior side of the first wall and fluidly separates the at least one passage from the interior space of the housing.
DATA CENTER HAVING A DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE RELIEF MECHANISM BETWEEN COLD AND HOT AISLES
A data center, an air handling system, and a method for installing equipment in a data center enable internal differential pressure relief within the data center. A volumetric container has mounting location(s) for heat generating information technology (IT) component(s) positioned within the volumetric container. A cold aisle on one side and a hot aisle on another side of the IT component(s) that have air passages for air cooling. A cooling unit is coupled to the volumetric container to pressurize the cold aisle with supply air and draws return air from the hot aisle. An air barrier is attached across an air passage between the cold and the hot aisles. A differential pressure relief mechanism is attached to the air barrier. The differential pressure relief mechanism is configured to open in responses to an air pressure difference across the differential pressure relief mechanism exceeding a pressure threshold.

A subsea enclosure arrangement for a subsea component, the enclosure includes walls of a fluid tight material, each wall terminating in a flange; a cover for closing the enclosure; an elastomeric seal between the flange and the cover; compressive members to apply a compressive force to the elastomeric seal, via the cover and the flange; a bracket connecting the flange to the cover; a weld seal between the bracket and the flange; and a weld seal between the bracket and the cover.
POWER ELECTRONICS UNIT
A power electronics unit for an aircraft and a method of determining the integrity of a power electronics unit are provided. The power electronics unit comprises an electric machine controller; a heatsink arranged to conduct heat from the electric machine controller; a housing comprising a sealed internal volume enclosing the electric machine controller and heatsink; a dielectric liquid partially filling the internal volume to cover the electric machine controller; a gas pocket within the internal volume; a pressure sensor arranged to measure a pressure of gas within the gas pocket; a temperature sensor arranged to measure a temperature within the internal volume; and a controller. The controller is configured to receive signals from the pressure sensor and temperature sensor, determine a pressure and temperature from the received signals and provide an output signal dependent on the determined temperature and pressure.

Thereto, the invention provides a lighting device (10) comprising a housing (11) and a bag (15) made of a bag material; wherein the housing (11) comprises a light source (23) and a light exit window (22) for outputting light of the light source (23) to the exterior; wherein the housing (11) has a housing volume (12) filled with air (13) having a housing pressure (14); wherein the bag (15) is gastightly sealed (17) with a bag material, and is filled with a bag fluid (16), and is contained within the housing volume (12); wherein the bag (15) is configured to expand for reducing the housing volume (12) and for thereby compensating a pressure drop in the housing pressure (14) of the air (13).
