A case configured with a base and a cover watertightly contains a circuit board, and a connector housing having a diaphragm is mounted in the circuit board so that the inside and the outside of the case are electrically connected with each other; an outer ring-shaped circumferential wall is provided on the outer surface of the diaphragm, and a protrusion portion having first and second ventilation holes is provided at the side surface of the outer ring-shaped circumferential wall; one end of each of the first and second ventilation holes communicates with the outer surface portion of a water-repellent filter provided on the inner wall surface of the diaphragm, and the other end thereof communicates with the inside of a recess portion that is situated at a side of the mating connector and fits with the protrusion portion.
EX certified robotic system with enhanced corrosion resistance
A robotic system with a robot and enclosure, the robotic system configured for explosive (EX) Zone 1 certification. Fasteners attaching a panel to a housing of the enclosure can be positioned away from a seal of the panel, with the seal sealingly engaging the panel and housing when the panel is attached to the housing. The panel overlapping a portion of the housing when attached to the housing, with at least the overlapped portion having a metallized layer and the metallized layer being electrically coupled to the panel when the panel is attached. The panel can be rotationally attached to the housing by one or more hinges. The panel can be configured to assist operators with manual manipulation of the panel by attaching detachable handles to the panel.
Terminal block and stud for transitioning an electrical connection between two distinct areas
A terminal block for transitioning electrical connections between two adjacent areas comprises at least one hole for receiving a stud. Each hole comprises a through hole and a sealing chamber surrounding the through hole. A stud is used for each hole. Each stud comprises a seal support flange and a sealing device. Each side of the seal support flange comprises a system for making an electrical connection. The seal support flange is sized to fit within the sealing chamber. The sealing device is located between the support flange and the sealing chamber. The stud is secured to the hole on the opposite side of the dielectric insert from the support flange and the sealing chamber to compress the sealing device between the support flange and the sealing chamber and cause the sealing device to fill the space of the sealing chamber and form a seal between the stud and the sealing chamber.

A mobile terminal comprises: a metallic frame; a first cover and a second cover coupled to a front surface and a rear surface of the metallic frame, respectively; and a first waterproof layer and a second waterproof layer formed between the first cover and the metallic frame, and between the second cover and the metallic frame, respectively, wherein the metallic frame includes: a base portion configured to support a display unit formed on the front surface of the metallic frame; and an edge portion formed along an outer periphery of the base portion so as to radiate heat generated from the base portion, and exposed to outside of the mobile terminal between the first cover and the second cover.
Hard disk drive with feedthrough connector
Described herein is an apparatus that includes a housing that defines an interior cavity. The housing also includes a feedthrough aperture. The apparatus also includes an electrical connector that is coupled to the housing over the feedthrough aperture. The electrical connector includes a base, a plurality of pins extending through the base, and a skirt positioned about a periphery of the base. The pins extend from a location external to the housing to a location within the interior cavity of the housing. Further, an inner surface of the base is co-planar with an outer end of the feedthrough aperture. The apparatus also includes solder positioned on the housing and against an entire periphery of the skirt to seal the electrical connector to the housing.
Package and method for fabricating package
A package that hermetically seals an integrated circuit includes a metal lid (7) and a metal housing (10) having an open upper portion (12). In the package, the housing (10) includes in a wall surface thereof a glass unit (2) that seals a plurality of lead terminals therein. The glass unit (2) is disposed in a wall surface of the housing (10) such that a thickness in a vertical direction of the wall surface on an upper side of the glass unit (2) is determined according to a threshold limit value of a difference in temperature between glass that forms the glass unit (2) and metal that forms the wall surface.

The present disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a housing and at least one busbar for connecting a printed circuit board disposed in the housing to a power supply present outside the housing, wherein the housing has a penetration, from which the busbar projects, wherein a magnetic core and a gasket accommodating the magnetic core are placed in the housing penetration in a media-tight manner, and the gasket, together with the magnetic core, encompasses the busbar in a form-fitting manner.

A structure includes a sheet metal antenna as a first member, a rear-surface-side housing as a second member including a through hole, and a sealing portion which seals the through hole while the sealing portion fixes relative positional relation between the first and second members. The second member includes a space. The sheet metal antenna includes a second portion along a second surface and an intermediate portion which passes through the through hole and the like. The space includes a first region covered with the second portion and the like, a second region located opposite to the first region with the intermediate portion being interposed, and a third region which lies from one main surface of the intermediate portion to the other main surface thereof while it is in contact with both of the first region and the second region. The second portion includes an injection hole.
Power conversion device
A power conversion device includes an electronic component, a cooler, a housing, protruding pipes, and annular seal members. Each of the seal members includes a seal body portion interposed between a corresponding one of the protruding pipes and the housing, and a flange portion extending outward from the seal body portion in a radial direction and contacting an outer surface of the housing from an axial direction. The housing includes a peripheral wall surface formed to surround the flange portion from an outer peripheral side, and an annular groove portion formed along an outer peripheral edge of the flange portion inside the peripheral wall surface. The peripheral wall surface is formed to extend outward, in the axial direction, from an axial contact surface of the housing contacted by the flange portion.
SPLIT DOOR SUBMERSIBLE NETWORK PROTECTOR HOUSINGS FOR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
A split door submersible housing for an electrical distribution system includes a cabinet body defining an interior region configured to accept a component of the electrical distribution system, and a first door and a second door positioned side by side to cover an open front portion of the cabinet body. The cabinet body includes at least one opening configured to accept an electrode sealed with and electrically isolated from the cabinet body and extending through the cabinet body to establish electrical connection between a corresponding terminal of the component and an electrical distribution network. A gasket system is provided, which comprises a first gasket configured to fit on the first door and a second gasket configured to fit on the second door. The gasket system seals the first door and the second door against each other and against a corresponding surface on the cabinet body, when the first and second doors are closed and locked, so that the housing is water tight.
