20230156952 · 2023-05-18 · ·

A holding device, includes: a holding portion configured to hold a shunt resistor; a spacer portion extending from the holding portion and abutting on a front surface of a substrate on which a monitoring unit configured to monitor a current value of a current flowing through the shunt resistor is mounted; and an engaging portion extending from the holding portion and having an engaging claw to be engaged with a back surface of the substrate. The spacer portion separates the holding portion and the substrate from each other such that a connection portion which electrically connects the shunt resistor and the monitoring unit is visible.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE OF MAGNETS TO RETAIN AND EJECT COMPUTING DEVICE EXPANSION MODULES

Systems and methods for use of magnets to retain and eject computing device expansion modules are disclosed. According to an aspect, a system includes a computing device that defines a slot for receipt of an expansion module for operable positioning of the expansion module with respect to the computing device. The expansion module comprises a first magnet attached thereto. Further, the system includes an electromagnet attached to the slot of the computing device. The system also includes a controller configured to apply an electrical output to the electromagnet such that the electromagnet generates a magnetic field for repelling the first magnet such the expansion module is urged in a direction for ejection from the slot.

POWER MODULE HAVING PACKAGING STRUCTURE
20170374755 · 2017-12-28 ·

A power module having a packaging structure includes a substrate having a first conductive area, a second conductive area, a third conductive area, a first fixing area and a second fixing area. The first, the second and the third conductive areas are electrically connected to a first terminal, a second terminal and a third terminal, and the first and the second fixing areas are electrically connected to a first switch set and a second switch set, so that they are in a parallel arrangement. The first terminal is a current input end, the second terminal is an intermediate end, and the third terminal is a current output end. When a current flows from the current input end to the intermediate end, or from the intermediate end to the current output end, the current flows straightly in order to reduce a crossover area and lower the stray inductance.
