Computer Docking Station
20230034925 · 2023-02-02 · ·

A computer docking station devised to save desktop space while also eliminating the presence of permanent cables that can clutter the work surface is disclosed. The computer docking station utilizes a split design, with a lower dock subassembly positioned beneath the work surface for housing the permanent cables necessary for the computer workstation to operate and an upper dock subassembly comprising one or more data ports positioned on top of the work surface. A monitor arm mount can be attached to, or integrated into, the upper dock subassembly, thereby alleviating the need for a separate monitor arm mount without negatively impacting the docking station's footprint.

Clamp for standing seam

A clamp assembly that may be used for securing to a raised portion of a surface. The clamp assembly comprising a mounting body of a general block shape having a slot for receiving the raised portion formed in a bottom surface of the mounting body attaching the clamp assembly thereto. The clamp assembly is configured with one or more pins that may be formed in a substantially elongated cylindrical shape. The pins may be configured to be received in one or more push-pin holes formed in the mounting body, whereby the push-pin holes extend to the slot from a side surface of push-pin holes. The clamp assembly includes a fastening element adapted to be received in a fastener hole formed adjacent the push-pin holes in the side surface of the mounting body. The fastening element is configured to secure, attach and hold the clamp assembly to the standing seam by forcing the pins against the raised portion of the surface disposed in the slot.

Electronic device and cable organizing assembly

The present invention discloses an electronic device and a cable organizing assembly. The electronic device includes a main structure with a body and the cable organizing assembly. The body has a penetration hole passing through the body and extends from a bottom surface to form a wall having a notch. The cable organizing assembly includes a cable fastening member fixed at the wall and correspondingly sealing the notch. The cable fastening member includes multiple cable grooves for fastening at least one cable. The central axis of each cable groove is not parallel to the central axis of the penetration hole. Cables pass through the penetration hole from one side of a top surface, become bent, and are fixed on one side of the bottom surface of the body by the cable organizing assembly. Thus, a liquid from the exterior is unlikely to enter along the cables into the interior.

Brake for an electronic component

An assembly is provided for an electronic system. This electronic system includes a base and an electronic component. The base includes a base connector, a bay and a first guide. The first guide is arranged along a first side of the bay. The electronic component is configured to mate with the first guide and to move along the first guide within the bay to an installed position. The electronic component includes a component connector and a brake. The component connector is configured to couple with the base connector when the electronic component is at the installed position. The brake is engageable as the electronic component moves along the first guide to the installed position.

CONTAINERS HAVING A MECHANICAL TOLERANCE COMPENSATORY ELEMENT

A container that has a mechanical tolerance compensatory element includes a housing, an electronic assembly, a cover, and an attachment member. The housing defines an electronic assembly recess. The electronic assembly is disposed within the electronic assembly recess and contacts the housing. The cover is attached to the housing, has a center, and defines an attachment member portion, a slot, and a first projection. The slot is disposed between the attachment member portion and the center of the cover. The first projection extends into the electronic assembly recess and contacts the electronic assembly such that the electronic assembly is retained between the housing and the cover. The attachment member is disposed at the attachment member portion defined by the cover and attaches the cover to the housing.

LOCK MECHANISM FOR SECURING AN EXPANSION CARD IN A COMPUTER CHASSIS
20220342462 · 2022-10-27 ·

A lock mechanism for securing an expansion card in a computer chassis includes an elongated structural support, a wedge, and a channel structure. The elongate structural support comprising a first and second arm extending obliquely away from each other from a central pivot point positioned between a first and second end of the elongate structural support. The wedge protrudes upwardly from the first arm at the first end of the elongated structural support. The wedge is configured to engage with a riser card component of a riser module including the expansion card and cause a rotation of the elongated structural support about the central pivot point from an unlocked to a locked position. The channel structure extends from the second arm at the second end of the elongated structural support. The channel structure is configured to secure the expansion card with the elongated structural support positioned in the locked position.

RESILIENT PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD RETENTION ARRANGEMENT

A controller for an e-machine of a turbomachine including a support structure, a printed circuit board, and a fastener arrangement that retains the printed circuit board on the support structure, the fastener arrangement including a resilient member that resiliently biases the printed circuit board towards the support structure.

SINGLE PCB BOARD CAMERA WITH ENHANCED SIGNAL INTEGRITY AND THERMAL CONDUCTION

Described herein is a sensor device. The sensor device comprises a housing and a printed circuit board encased by the housing. The printed circuit board comprises an image sensor that captures image data, an image sensor processor that processes the image data, a serializer that converts one or more data channels associated with the image data into a single data channel, and one or more exposed surfaces. The one or more exposed surfaces dissipate heat generated by the image sensor, the image sensor processor, and the serializer from the printed circuit board to the housing.

SCALABLE GRAPHICS CARD ASSEMBLY SUPPORT SYSTEM
20230077052 · 2023-03-09 ·

A scalable graphics card assembly support system for a desktop chassis comprises an end support for coupling to an end of a graphics card assembly and a side support for coupling to a side of the card assembly. The side support can be coupled to any of several positions in a retention guide and the end support may couple to the card assembly or an extension coupled to the graphics card assembly, allowing the graphics card assembly support system to support graphic card assemblies of different lengths, widths and thicknesses. The graphics card assembly support system couples to one or more selected points within the chassis such that a chassis panel can be easily removed for servicing the information handling system. Cable parking connectors and conduit couplers provide better cable and conduit management for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance of an information handling system in the chassis.
