Holding Component, Support Component and Assembly
The invention relates to a holding component with a riser card for receiving an expansion component for a computer system. The riser card comprises a first mating plug connector on a first side of a bottom plate of the holding component. Further, the riser card comprises a first plug connector on a second side of the bottom plate opposite the first side. The holding component is adapted to receive the expansion component by establishing a plug connection of a second plug connector of the expansion component and the first mating plug connector on the holding component, wherein the holding component comprises a slot bracket, which is adapted to receive a slot angle of the expansion component.
Furthermore, the invention relates to a support component for receiving at least one holding component and to an assembly comprising a chassis of a server module and of a holding component as well as of a support component.
ELECTRICAL UNIT
An unit housing includes a first housing member, a second housing member, a circuit board disposed at least partially between the first housing member and the second housing member, a positioning column disposed at least partially in the circuit board, a first resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the first housing member, and a second resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the second housing member.
Anti-tamper mechanism and electronic device using the same
An anti-tamper mechanism to disable an electronic device during unauthorized physical access includes: a turnover assembly, spring, turnover member, conducting members, and a latch. The turnover body defines a plurality of receiving grooves. Several conducting members are received in the plurality of receiving spaces in a certain and predefined order to enable electrical coupling with the circuit board. The latch includes a supporting bracket, a guiding rod slidably positioned on the supporting bracket, and a latching member positioned on the guiding rod. The latching member engages with the turnover body to hold the turnover member in check, but when the latching member disengages from the turnover body in disassembly, the turnover member displaces the conducting members thereby destroying the certain and predefined order and electrical decouples the circuit board to disable the electronic device.
PRINTED CIRCUIT PROTECTIVE CASE BASE PLATE PROVIDED WITH A RIVET BLANK BORNE BY A VENTILATION FILTER
Disclosed is a base plate (1) and the protective case of a printed circuit. The plate includes a ventilation filter (4) and at least one rivet blank (5) projecting from the plate and intended to penetrate the printed circuit and to be deformed for rigidly connecting the printed circuit to the base plate by projecting from a face (1a) of the plate, the filter including at least one ventilation opening (6). The rivet blank is borne by the filter and includes an internal tube (7) passing right through the rivet blank in the projecting direction thereof, the internal tube opening, on one side, onto an end of the rivet blank that projects furthest from the plate while forming the ventilation opening and, on the other side, into the ventilation filter.
Inverter
Disclosed herein is an inverter. The inverter includes a base provided with a heat dissipation part, a main board disposed on the base to output an input power along an independent power flow through a rectification part and a inverter part, and a control board fixed to be electrically connected to the main board to form a flow of a secondary power and a flow of an electrical signal, the flow of the secondary power and the flow of the electrical signal being independent from each other.
Switchable mechanical constraint for electrical connector with compliant mounting
Described herein is a system that includes a sled and a data storage device positioned within the sled. The sled includes a base, an electrical connector positioned within and movable relative to the base, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is positioned within the base and movable, relative to the base and the electrical connector, between a locked position and a unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking mechanism restricts movement of the electrical connector in at least one degree of freedom relative to the base. In the unlocked position, the locking mechanism does not restrict movement of the electrical connector in the at least one degree of freedom relative to the base. The data storage device is co-movably coupled to the electrical connector.
Electrical device with a modular structure
An electrical device including a skeleton-like frame structure and at least one electrical module is provided. The skeleton-like frame structure has a low rigidity, while the at least one electrical module provides an increased rigidity when mounted.
Toolless card lock mechanism
A securing mechanism for retaining a daughter board upon the primary board includes a base, which is moveably assembled upon the main board, and a latch assembled upon the base and moveable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The base forms a support platform upwardly abutting against the underside of the daughter board and equipped with an arc protrusion for receipt within a notch of the daughter board, and a grounding piece with one end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad of the daughter board and the other end mechanically and electrically connecting a grounding pad on the main board. The base forms a horizontal slot to receive the main body so as to retain the base to the main body in position in the vertical direction. The latch forms a pressing face downwardly pressing an upper side of the daughter board.
CONFIGURABLE CARD RETENTION FOR RISERS
A mechanical retention assembly for use with an information handling resource may include a body configured to mechanically couple to a riser card, a bracket mechanically coupled to the body and configured to mechanically retain respective tails of component cards received into the riser card, and at least one low-profile retention feature rotatably coupled to the body and configured to be movable between an open position and a closed position relative to the body. In the open position, the at least one low-profile retention feature may allow for insertion and removal of a component card into a connector of the riser card associated with the at least one low-profile retention feature. In the closed position, the at least one low-profile retention feature may mechanically retain a top edge of a low-profile component card received into the riser card.
Systems and methods for coupling a circuit board to an information handling system chassis
In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, an information handling system may include a chassis and a circuit board. The chassis may have one or more structural posts. The circuit board may mechanically couple to the chassis, and the circuit board may comprise a substrate having formed therein one or more through-holes and one or more hooks each configured to mechanically couple the circuit board to the chassis via a corresponding structural post of the one or more structural posts, each of the one or more hooks comprising one or more mounting features, wherein each of the one or more mounting features is sized and shaped to engage with a corresponding one of the one or more through-holes in order to mechanically couple such hook to the substrate.
