Modular Ducting Solution
A drive apparatus is provided which comprising a ducting piece coupled to a drive comprises an air vent. The base of the ducting piece is open to receive exhaust gases from the drive and the ducting piece then diverts these gases horizontally. A system may be provided comprises a plurality of such apparatuses, with the ducting pieces coupled to one another to pass the gases along a horizontal pathway.

An information handling system may include a backplane configured to couple at a first side thereof to a plurality of physical storage resources, an air mover configured to provide cooling to the information handling system, and a shelf coupled to the backplane at a second, opposite side thereof, wherein the shelf is disposed between the first side of the backplane and the air mover. The shelf may include an acoustically absorbent material.
Sidewall-accessible dense storage rack
Rack configurations provide increased storage device density without compromising cooling or immediate device availability. A device rack has a frame including posts which define an interior containing system board(s) with electronic device connectors. The system board is fixed relative to the frame, and the rack is devoid of sliding rails and cable management arms for the devices, thereby reducing rack weight and mechanical complexity. A vertical plenum within the rack between loaded system boards carries cooling air for the devices and may also permit use of a service robot to install or replace hot-pluggable hard disk drives or other devices, which can be arranged in columns. As one objective measure of the increased density provided, a connector density is at least a specified number of hundreds of mechanically and electronically releasably connectable electronic device connectors per cubic meter within the rack.
Method and apparatus to mitigate assembly torsion
A mechanism to mitigate assembly torsion on an electronics assembly is provided. The mechanism including an electronics assembly and a first connector, mounted to the electronics assembly with a lower portion of the first connector proximal to the electronics assembly and an upper portion of the first connector distal to the electronics assembly. The mechanism includes a spring, mounted so as to press the upper portion of the first connector and preload the first connector against assembly force imparted by assembly of the first connector to a second connector. A method to mitigate assembly torsion on an electronics assembly is also provided.

The invention relates to a support for computer data back-up units, designed to receive at least two distinct sizes of back-up units, wherein the support comprises a bottom and at least one stationary wall perpendicular to the bottom.
According to the invention, the support further comprises an additional wall extending perpendicularly to the bottom of the support and parallel to the stationary wall, wherein it is mounted to be movable relative to the bottom of the support between at least two receiving slots respectively associated with the distinct sizes of the back-up units.
PCB fixing mechanism and liquid crystal display device
The present invention provides a PCB Fixing Mechanism and Liquid Crystal Display Device. Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed for accessories for electronic devices and removable fan cartridges for electronic devices. An example electronic device accessory includes a backplate panel removably couplable to a first chassis of a first electronic device to replace a portion of a first cover of the first chassis and removably couplable to a second chassis of a second electronic device to replace a portion of a second cover of the second chassis. The example electronic device accessory also includes a mating device to releasably couple the backplate panel to the first chassis and independently releasably couple the backplate panel to the second chassis and a fan coupled to the backplate panel. The fan is to increase a Z height of the first electronic device when the backplate panel is coupled to the first electronic device and increase a Z height of the second electronic device when the backplate panel is coupled to the second electronic device.
