Isolating information handling system racks from shock and vibration in a modular data center

A modular data center includes a container for housing at least one rack containing an information handling system. A frame is disposed within the container. The frame has several upper cross-members and several lower cross-members. A floor is coupled to the lower cross-members and the at least one rack is disposed on an upper surface of the floor. At least one lower bracket extends between the floor and the first rack and is affixed to the floor and a first rack to couple/secure the first rack to the floor. Several first isolators are mounted between the floor and the lower cross-members. The first isolators protect the first rack from mechanical shock and vibration.

SLIDE RAIL ASSEMBLY AND RAILS MOUNTING METHOD THEREOF

A slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a supporting member and a second rail. The supporting member is arranged on the first rail and includes a first supporting portion, a second supporting portion and a guiding portion arranged between the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. When the second rail is mounted into the passage of the first rail, the first supporting portion is configured to support the second rail. When the second rail is moved along a mounting direction, the second rail is guided to the second supporting portion through the guiding portion.

AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT FOR AN ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

An apparatus (1) comprising hardware equipment (3) having hardware components (10) enclosed by a chassis (2) having a front side (2A) and a rear side (2B), and auxiliary equipment (5) movable within the chassis (2) along at least one transportation rail (7) with a non-linear trajectory extending in horizontal plane between a first position at the front side (2A) of the chassis (2) and a second position behind the hardware equipment (3) at the rear side (2B) of the chassis (2), wherein a part of the hardware components (10) is at least temporarily removable from the chassis (2) or movable within the chassis (2) to provide space (11) for moving the auxiliary equipment (5) within the chassis (2) along the at least one transportation rail (7) between the first and second position.

Panel Support and Installation System
20230323661 · 2023-10-12 ·

A panel support system for mounting a panel to an enclosure can include support profiles mounted to a top and a bottom of the enclosure. The support profiles can define elongate channels that can be sized to receive a top or bottom portion of the panel. The bottom support profile can have apertures along a base wall of the profile. Elements for reducing friction, including, for example, rollers can extend through the apertures in an installation configuration, to facilitate insertion of a panel into the elongate channel. The friction-reducing elements can be moved to an installed configuration once the panel is in place, allowing the panel to rest on the base wall of the bottom support profile.
