Slide Rail Assembly

A slide rail assembly includes a first rail, a bracket, a second rail and a locking device. The bracket is arranged on the first rail and has a locking part. The second rail is movable relative to the first rail from a retracted position to an extended position. The locking device is arranged on the second rail. The locking device comprises a locking base and a locking member. The locking base is configured to be operated relative to the second rail to be in one of an open state and a closed state. When the locking base is in the closed state, the locking member corresponds to the locking part of the bracket. When the locking base is in the open state, the locking member is away from the locking part of the bracket.

A rail adjustable mount adjusts a rail to support information handling system chassis with different depths in racks of different depths. The adjustable mount couples to a rack front with a sliding portion extending into the rack interior. The adjustable mount sliding portion slidingly engages a guide of the rail to allow adjustment of the rail relative to the rack so that a rail fits into a rack having a depth that is greater than the length of the rail's housing. A floating portion of the rail supports the rail at the rear of the rack and allows the rail position to float relative to the rear of the rack. A biasing device of the adjustable mount biases the rail towards the front of the rack to aid full extension and retraction of the rail at the rack.

A system includes a top-of-rack, a first plurality of chassis, and a first backplane. The first plurality of chassis each includes at least one rack module and a chassis network switch that connects to each of the at least one rack module. The first backplane includes a first backplane network switch that connects to the top-of-rack and connects to each of the first plurality of chassis via the chassis network switch of each of the first plurality of chassis.

Cable management device and connection mechanism

A cable management device includes a first arm and a first connection element. The first arm has a first end portion and a second end portion. The first connection element is pivotally connected to the second end portion of the first arm. One of the first arm and the first connection element is arranged with an engaging feature, and the other one of the first arm and the first connection element is arranged with a corresponding feature. When the first arm pivots relative to the first connection element from a first position to a second position by a predetermined angle, the first arm is capable of being kept at the second position relative to the first connection element by cooperation between the engaging feature and the corresponding feature.
