Low-PIM Universal Cable Hanger System
A low passive intermodulation (PIM) cable hangers system includes several types of universal bases that each include a standard end effector receptacle integrally formed with a mounting adapter designed to interface with a support structure having a particular shape. For example, a first type of universal base includes a pole adapter, and a second type of universal base includes an angle adapter. The standard end effector receptacle is designed to receive a standard fitting integrally formed into a range of end effectors, such as a low-PIM barrel cable block, a low-PIM junction box for receiving snap-in cable hangers, and a low-PIM dual-rod cable hanger allowing different types of universal bases to be mixed and matched interchangeably with different types of end effectors. Cable ties are used to secure the universal bases and end effectors to support structures, such as pole supports and angle supports.
MINIMAL TOUCH POST FOR MULTI-LAYER CABLE ROUTING
A system includes a tray, where the tray includes a rail and a bracket that secures the rail to a networking device such that the rail is distanced from a surface of the networking device. A support post is removably coupled to the rail. The support post includes a first support member and a second support member vertically displaced from the first support member, where each of the first and second support members includes a support structure that supports a cable connected with a port at the surface of the networking device and routes the cable away from the networking device to another location distanced from the networking device. The cable supported by the first support member is separated and segregated from the cable supported by the second support member. With minimal touch, a support post can be moved from one location to another along the rail.
TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENCLOSURE WITH MODULAR LOCKING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to telecommunications enclosures that can be customizable to meet customer needs. A telecommunications enclosure can be customized to included added security as desired. That is, a modular security lock may be utilized as an add-on feature for telecommunications enclosures.
LIGHT FIXTURE WITH PATCH PANEL
A lighting system is provided with a plurality of light fixtures within a room and at least one control system for controlling the plurality of light fixtures within a room. At least one of the light fixtures among the plurality of light fixtures within the room includes a patch panel thereon. The control system is attached to the patch panel on a first side of the patch panel, and a remaining of the plurality of light fixtures in the room are connected to the patch panel on a second side.
Power connector assembly for a communication system
A power connector includes a housing holding first and second power contacts. The housing has first and second rails defining a slot receiving a power rail. The housing has an upper contact channel in an upper wall and a lower contact channel in a lower wall receiving the power contacts. The power contacts each have a base and deflectable spring beams extending into the slot and being exposed at the slot for slidable electrical connection to a first power rail contact of the power rail on an upper surface the power rail and a second power rail contact of the power rail on a lower surface the power rail.
Network device with compact chassis
In some implementations, a network device is provided. The network device includes a housing and a set of switch cards, mounted within the housing. The set of switch cards includes a first set of connectors. The network device also includes a set of line cards having a second set of connectors. The set of line cards are oriented parallel to each other and oriented orthogonally to the set of switch cards. The second set of connectors is coupled to the first set of connectors to couple the set of switch cards to the set of line cards. The network device further includes a first set of power supplies disposed along a left side of the housing and a second set of power supplies disposed along a right side of the housing.
NETWORK DEVICE WITH COMPACT CHASSIS
In some implementations, a network device includes a housing and a set of switch cards within the housing and including a first set of connectors. A set of line cards within the housing includes a second set of connectors. The set of line cards are oriented orthogonally to the set of switch cards. A first set of power supplies and a second set of power supplies are in the housing. A midplane includes a plurality of circuit board assemblies arranged within the housing between the set of line cards and the first and second sets of power supplies to allow air to flow through the set of line cards to the set of switch cards, first set of power supplies, and second set of power supplies.
Assembly for high-speed interconnection of digital electrical components
A modular cable backplane assembly for high-speed interconnection of digital electrical components in Field Replaceable Units, FRUs, (12) mounted in an equipment rack (10). A vertical stack of a plurality of parallel horizontal cable connector carrying trays (51) is mounted within a rigid chassis (32). The trays provide electrical component connector pins on a front side and high-speed data and power cable connectors on a back side thereof. At least one enclosed vertical channel (21) is attached to the vertical stack of horizontal plates (51) for protectively routing cables to the cable connector carrying trays. Vertical spacing of the cable connector carrying trays enables cooling fans (41) mounted on the rigid chassis to provide unimpeded front-to-back airflow over the FRUs (12). The cable backplane assembly may be removed and replaced as a unit, and may be upgraded, in situ, from copper to optical connections.
Uniform equipment mounting system
A universal mounting system is provided for use in connection with substantially any type of electronic equipment so was to reduce or substantially avoid the need for rail kids or other mounting assemblies that are its equipment specific for mounting equipment to racks. In one implementation, a uniform mounting system (101) includes a number of rail and slider assemblies (112). Each of the rail and slider assemblies includes a slider that is slightly mounted on a support rail. Each of the slider is includes mounting flange is and brackets for mounting the slider to a piece of equipment. The mounting flanges 116 that's collectively define a segmented vertical rail. A safety stop mechanism can be used to define very a offset figurations of the equipment with respect to a front end of the rack.
Lockable cover assembly
The present disclosure provides lockable cover assemblies that can cover mounting fasteners used to secure network devices to mounting structures, including racks, rack-mounted enclosures, cabinets or other mounting enclosures used to mount network devices, or utility boxes used to mount network devices. The lockable cover assemblies can be configured to cover the mounting fasteners of one or more network devices or the lockable cover assemblies can be built into a mounting enclosure and lock each network device in the rack.
