A weight assembly that includes a weight disposed within the recessed channel and a cover extending over the recessed channel. A shelf is defined in the cover and slidably receives the weight. The weight assembly also includes a fastener coupling the cover to the body. The fastener is adapted to retain the weight in the recessed channel only indirectly by the cover. The cover is positionable in an unlocked configuration whereby the cover is raised at least partially out of the recessed channel and the weight is slidable within the shelf and the recessed channel, and a locked configuration whereby the cover is disposed within the recessed channel and the weight is secured within the recessed channel and the shelf. The weight moves with the cover between the unlocked configuration and the locked configuration.

When the coupling groove portion 110a of the body 110 and the coupling protrusion portion 120a of the variable face 120 are disengaged from each other by pulling the variable face 120 from the body 110 toward one side, the golf club may be switched to a putter or a chipper through rotation of the variable face 120.

An iron-type golf club head includes a body having a wall extending about an opening, a faceplate coupled to the body across the opening, and a fill material. The wall defines a first set of apertures and a second aperture, and includes an outer peripheral surface, a sole and a rear wall portion extending from the heel to the toe. The wall and the faceplate define a rearward-facing back cavity. The sole, the rear wall portion and the faceplate define a lower cavity that is continuous with the back cavity. The first set of apertures and the second aperture extend through the wall from the peripheral outer surface to, and are continuous with, the lower cavity. The first set of apertures and the second aperture extend about first and second planes, respectively. The fill material substantially fills the lower cavity and the first set of apertures and the second aperture.

The golf club head also comprise a coefficient of restitution (COR) feature located on the sole of the golf club head. The at least one crown insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc. The at least one sole insert is formed from a composite material having a density between 1 g/cc and 2 g/cc.
