In some implementations, a conductive concrete composition for providing improved shielding against electromagnetic radiation comprises cement, one or more supplementary materials, aggregates, one or more carbon products, and fibers. In some implementations, the composition comprises between about 5% and about 40% by weight of cement, between about 1% and about 20% by weight of one or more supplementary materials, between about 5% and about 80% by weight of aggregates, between about 1% and about 40% by weight of one or more carbon products, and between about 1% and about 10% by weight of fibers. In some embodiments, the one or more supplementary materials comprises ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), the one or more carbon products comprises graphite, and the fibers comprise steel fibers. The aggregates can include normal weight, lightweight, and/or fine aggregates.

An EMP-protective composite structure may include at least one enclosure having walls, a ceiling, at least one ingress/egress portal and a base, each including at least one blast-resistant structural panel and at least one layer of an EMP barrier having CCR that provides magnetic conduction, field absorption, and field reflection fully-enclosing the structural panel. A blast- resistant structural panel may include a frame constructed of a spaced-apart frame members of a ferrous material, frame reinforcing members extending between the frame members, a cementitious layer in which the frame is embedded, and an EMP absorbing mesh embedded in the cementitious layer. The composite structure may further include an encapsulation barrier and a HEMP protective door formed in the enclosure to absorb and deflect HEMP.

SHIELDED ENCLOSURES AND RELATED METHODS FOR PROTECTION FROM HIGH-ALTITUDE ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSES

Electromagnetically shielded and self-supporting panels form a shielded enclosure. The use of prefabricated, shielded and self-supporting panels to construct an enclosure reduces the time and cost of constructing such an enclosure.

ADJUSTABLE FRAME WITH A THERMAL BREAK
20220389748 · 2022-12-08 · ·

A frame may comprise three or more portions comprising an upper portion disposed adjacent an upper end of an opening and two side portions disposed along either edge of the opening, and in some cases a lower portion adjacent a lower end of an opening. A first frame segment and the second frame segment are adjustable with respect to each other in order to extend around the thickness of the opening. A third segment, such as a soffit segment may be utilized to cover at least a portion of the segments. The first frame segment, the second frame segment, and/or the soffit segment may have one or more barriers located between portions of the segments. The first frame segment may be adjusted with respect to the second frame segment, and the adjustment may be made before or after activation of the one or more barriers.

ADJUSTABLE FRAME WITH A THERMAL BREAK SEAL

A frame may include three or more portions having an upper portion disposed adjacent an upper end of an opening and two side portions disposed along either edge of the opening, and in some cases a lower portion when the opening is for a window or some doors. A first frame segment and the second frame segment are adjustable with respect to each other in order to extend around the thickness of the door opening. The segments may have one or more thermal barriers, such as a seal (e.g., u-shaped, v-shaped, or the like seal) located between portions of the segments. The first frame segment may be adjusted with respect to the second frame segment. The adjustment of the segments may be made before or after the one or more thermal barriers are installed.

ADJUSTABLE DOOR FRAME FOR A SLIDING DOOR
20220389750 · 2022-12-08 · ·

A door frame for a sliding door system may include three (3) portions having an upper portion disposed adjacent an upper end of a door opening and two side portions disposed along either edge of the door opening. A first frame segment and the second frame segment are adjustable with respect to each other in order to extend around different thickness of different door openings. The first frame segment and/or the second frame segment may have one or more caps, retainers, headers or the like coupled to the frame segments. The caps, retainers, or headers may have portions that are trimmed in order to allow them to mate with portions of the first frame segment or the second frame segment. The adjustment of the segments may be made before or after being installed.

Electromagnetically shielded wallpaper

The electromagnetic shielding of an enclosable building structure is provided by applying a shielding wallcovering to at least a portion of building structure. The shielding wall covering is wallpaper comprising a metal-coated substrate core and resin. To connect the shielded wallpaper to the building structure a layer of the resin or an adhesive layer may be used.

Structure shielding wallpaper

An electromagnetic wave shielding wallpaper is described. The wallpaper includes a conductive layer having a base material and a conductive material, and an adhesive layer. The wallpaper may include a protective layer disposed on a first side of the conductive layer, a fire retardant layer disposed on a second side of the conductive layer, and the adhesive layer disposed on the fire retardant layer.

Urban Drone Corridor
20220212813 · 2022-07-07 ·

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) passage with physically real housing and enclosure, provides a reliable and secure aerial path space for the UAV in the populated urban areas. The ability of the modern UAV system to make an exact movement, as well as the high precision achieved by the indoor position system, makes regular UAV travel in a physically real tunnel-like corridor unchallenging. Appropriately lightened, EMI shielded, pressurized, with a wired and wireless communication link, the UAV passage creates a safe, reliable, and regulation-compliant flying environment for autonomous UAV flight missions or UAV deliveries deep in the urban areas surrounded by high rise buildings or clouded by controlled/restricted airspaces.
