The first ridge of the top portion occupies a second space defined by the second groove of the bottom portion, and the second ridge of the bottom portion occupies a first space defined by the first groove of the top portion. The socket is disposed over the bottom portion and accessible through the aperture of the top portion.

An ADA compliant shielded door is disclosed. According to one aspect, a door is configured to create a radio frequency (RF) seal when the door is sealed so that RF energy is restricting from passing through a gap between an outer periphery of the door and a door frame when the door is sealed. The door includes: at least one knife edge along at least part of the outer periphery of the door, each knife edge configured to project into a channel of a door frame in a direction parallel to a face of the door when the door is sealed. The door also includes at least one contact element along a length of a knife edge, the at least one contact element being configured to make electrical contact with a channel wall of a channel of the door frame when the knife edge projects into the channel.

Embodiments relate to materials and methods for manufacturing the materials for an enclosure that houses one or more electronic devices. In some embodiments, the materials include a tuned micro-lattice that includes one or more metallic materials defining a micro-lattice configuration. In some embodiments, the one or more metallic materials extend over at least a portion of an elastomeric material. In some embodiments, the materials include a tuned composite metallic foam including one or more metallic materials. A first portion of the foam has a first porosity and a second portion of the foam has a second porosity. In some embodiments, the materials for the enclosure are one or more of a gasket and a coating that extends over a least a portion of an interior portion of the enclosure.

A circuit module includes a wiring substrate having a mount surface, a conductor pattern, and an insulating protective layer, the mount surface having first and second areas, the conductor pattern being formed along a boundary between the first and second areas on the mount surface, the insulating protective layer being formed on the mount surface, the insulating protective layer covering the mount surface and the conductor pattern; a plurality of electronic components mounted on the first and second areas; an insulating sealing layer having a trench, the insulating sealing layer covering the plurality of electronic components, the trench having a depth such that the trench penetrates the protective layer to reach a surface of the conductive pattern; and a conductive shield having first and second shield portions, the first shield portion covering an outer surface of the sealing layer, the second shield portion being electrically connected to the conductor pattern.

Electrically isolated heat dissipating junction box

A junction box used for making electrical connections to a photovoltaic panel. The junction box has two chambers including a first chamber and a second chamber and a wall common to and separating both chambers. The wall may be adapted to have an electrical connection therethrough. The two lids are adapted to seal respectively the two chambers. The two lids are on opposite sides of the junction box relative to the photovoltaic panel. The two lids may be attachable using different sealing processes to a different level of hermeticity. The first chamber may be adapted to receive a circuit board for electrical power conversion. The junction box may include supports for mounting a printed circuit board in the first chamber. The second chamber is configured for electrical connection to the photovoltaic panel. A metal heat sink may be bonded inside the first chamber.

An electronic device can include first and second housing components and an electrical grounding feature located therebetween to provide a grounding path. The grounding feature can include an outer portion formed from an electrically conductive material and an internal region containing a removable expansion element. The grounding feature can exert an expansion force against the housing components when the device is assembled and the expansion element remains, and exert no expansion force against the housing components when the expansion element is removed. The device can also include an adhesive coupling the electrical grounding feature to the housing components, which adhesive can be electrically conductive. The expansion element can be deformable and removable from an open end of the grounding feature outer portion, which outer portion can be elastic and can deform to contact more of the housing components when the grounding feature is compressed therebetween.

Acoustic absorbing material is disposed on the interior surface. A honeycomb air flow director is disposed at the second end of the housing. And an electromagnetic interference gasket surrounds an outer edge of the honeycomb air flow director. In an embodiment, a depth of the electromagnetic interference gasket is at least as deep as a depth of the honeycomb air flow director. Also provided is a handle, and a latch actuator, to enable removal and replacement of the fan silencer module and an associated fan module from a chassis.
