ELECTRICALLY AND THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE GASKETS
An electrically and thermally conductive gasket includes a resilient core including a plurality of sides, a heat spreader disposed along at least two sides of the plurality of sides of the resilient core, and an electrically conductive layer disposed along and/or covering at least a portion of the heat spreader, such that the portion of the heat spreader is between the resilient core and the electrically conductive layer. The gasket is positionable and/or compressible between first and second surfaces to thereby define an electrically conductive path and a thermally conductive path between the first and second surfaces.
Electromagnetic interference shielding for a coaxial connector using a gasket assembly
An electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield system is disclosed. The system may include an EMI gasket assembly configured to prevent radio frequency (RF) radiation from escaping through a gap between a RF connector and the enclosure. The gasket assembly may include a gasket including a receiving portion. The receiving portion may be configured to receive a portion of a shaft of the RF connector. The gasket may be formed of a compressible material. The gasket assembly may include a spacer configured to couple to a portion of the shaft of the RF connector. The spacer may be configured to compress the gasket against a portion of the enclosure when the spacer is rotated in a first direction. The spacer may be configured to provide electrical continuity between the radio frequency connector and the gasket by causing the gasket to form an electrical connection with the enclosure when the gasket is compressed.
Electrically conductive multilayer film and gasket
An electrically conductive multilayer film for providing an electrical path between two conductive surfaces includes a plastic backing layer, an electrically conductive layer disposed on a first side of the plastic backing layer, and a recovery layer disposed on an opposite second side of the plastic backing layer. An average thickness of the multilayer film is less than about 100 microns. A hollow gasket can be formed from the multilayer film by winding or bending the multilayer film into a flexible hollow closed loop. When the multilayer film is wound to form a flexible closed loop having an outside diameter of no more than about 7 mm with the conductive layer forming an outside layer of the loop, a resistance of the closed loop across a diameter of the closed loop remains less than about 2Ω when the loop is compressed across the diameter by at least 20%.
DISPLAY DEVICE
The display device includes a plurality of display modules arranged in an up and down direction and in a left and right direction, and the display module includes a unit frame; an inner plate coupled to the unit frame and having an inner opening; a control board disposed behind the inner plate and having a rear connector on the front surface; a back cover covering the control board; and a front display assembly disposed in front of the unit frame. The front display assembly may include at least one display panel, and a rear connector and a detachable front connector may be disposed. At least one of the rear connector and the front connector may pass through the inner opening.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING SHIELDING MEMBER
According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an electronic device may comprise a housing at least partially including an electrically conductive material, a first circuit board disposed in the housing, a connection member disposed on the first circuit board and partially extending past an edge of the first circuit board, a second circuit board disposed in the housing and connected to the connection member from a side of the first circuit board in which the connection member extends, and a shielding member disposed to surround the connection member and the second circuit board inside the housing. The shielding member may be electrically connected to at least one of the housing and the first circuit board. Other various embodiments are possible.
ADA COMPLIANT SHIELDED DOOR
An ADA compliant shielded door is disclosed. According to one aspect, a door is configured to create a radio frequency (RF) seal when the door is sealed so that RF energy is restricting from passing through a gap between an outer periphery of the door and a door frame when the door is sealed. The door includes: at least one knife edge along at least part of the outer periphery of the door, each knife edge configured to project into a channel of a door frame in a direction parallel to a face of the door when the door is sealed. The door also includes at least one contact element along a length of a knife edge, the at least one contact element being configured to make electrical contact with a channel wall of a channel of the door frame when the knife edge projects into the channel.
Solderable electric conductive gasket
Provided is an electrically conductive solderable gasket configured to be not easily separated or detached from a circuit board by external force after the electrically conductive solderable gasket is mounted on the circuit board by soldering. The gasket includes: a single-body metallic support and an elastic electrical contact terminal which is superposed on an upper portion of the support and into which portions of the support are fitted, wherein the support includes a fixing portion, extensions bent upward from both lengthwise ends of the fixing portion, and first and second fitting portions bent inward respectively from upper ends of the extensions, wherein the first and second fitting portions are fitted into a through-hole of the electrical contact terminal and overlap each other in a state in which a lower surface of a metal layer of the electrical contact terminal is placed in contact with the fixing portion.
System and method for isolated device access
A housing device for isolating electromagnetic interference emitting devices includes a structural frame for housing the electromagnetic interference emitting devices. The housing device further includes a non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure. The non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure is for encapsulating the structural frame. The non-structural electromagnetic interference isolating enclosure includes an access portion that enables the structural frame to be accessed. The access portion includes a vent.
ISOLATION TORTUOUS PATH SEAL ENCLOSOURE
A modular system of plastic walls having embedded and coextensive electrically conductive components configured to electrically connect with each other when the walls are mated. The walls have joining edges that form joint seams with other walls when joined together to create an enclosure. When enough walls are used to surround a storage space, a Faraday cage is created. The walls additionally have portions of tortuous paths at each joining edge that mate with a complementary portion of a tortuous path of another wall when the walls are joined together. A torturous path seal is thereby created at each joint seam. The plastic walls can be configured in a multiplicity of combinations to create various enclosures necessary for RFID-enabled storage and tracking of medical articles. Containers, enclosures, cabinets, and drawers of differing heights and sizes can be made and they may be stacked or otherwise assembled.
