An electromagnetic wave absorber includes: a first layer having a first enclosing layer that encloses an electromagnetic wave radiator, and a first metal film formed on the first enclosing layer.

Invisible compartment shielding

A method for shielding a compartment in a module of an electronic device includes molding the module using a mold material that activates when a laser is applied. The method also includes cutting a trench on the mold of the module around a certain portion of the module using the laser. The method further includes plating the trench using a certain metal. The method also includes filling the trench with a filler material. The method further includes encapsulating the module, the mold, the trench, and the filler material.

EMI SHIELDING FOR COMPOSITE BATTERY ENCLOSURE

A method for electro-magnetic interference shielding (EMI) of a battery box (10) or other EMI emitting device in a vehicle. The method includes the steps of forming a battery box enclosure (10) with an effective amount of a shielding material (20) attached to the enclosure (10). In one embodiment the box (10) is an SMC or injection molded preformed enclosure (10), and a metallic material (20) is attached to the enclosure (10) on an interior or exterior side of the enclosure (10). In another embodiment the enclosure (10) and mesh (20) are formed in the same mold cavity (24) for embedding the shielding material (20) in the enclosure (10).

Cradle with privacy protection function for portable electronic device

A power converter includes a semiconductor modules, a capacitor, a housing, a shield layer and a collar member. The capacitor is electrically connected to the semiconductor modules. The housing houses at least the semiconductor modules and the capacitor. The shield layer is electrically conductive and provided on and covers at least one of inner and outer surfaces of the housing. The collar member is electrically conductive and integrated with the housing. The collar member is configured to allow a fastener to be inserted through the collar member such that the housing is fixed to a vehicle-side member via the fastener. The collar member is electrically conductively joined to the shield layer.

Housing

Provided is a housing that effectively serves to block high-frequency electromagnetic waves in addition to low-frequency electromagnetic waves. A housing that houses an electronic or electric device includes at least one of a copper layer serving as a diamagnetic layer and a nickel layer serving as a ferromagnetic layer, stacked on each of front and back sides of an iron base member, and a bright tin layer further stacked thereon as an outermost layer.
