A retaining device for an EMF-generating device includes a first surface or opening which is transparent to the EMF of the EMF-generating device, and a second surface which is at least partially opaque to the EMF generated by the EMF-generating device. The device can be installed such that the second surface is oriented towards an individual or pet while the first surface faces away.

An RF cable connection device and an electronic device having the same are provided. The electronic device comprises: a housing; a printed circuit board located in the housing and including a first surface facing a first direction, a second surface facing a second direction opposite the first direction, and a third surface facing at least one direction other than those of the first and second surfaces; a first conductive contact located on the first surface of the printed circuit board; a second conductive contact located on the first surface of the printed circuit board; and at least one electrically conductive line, wherein the electrically conductive line comprises a first end part electrically connected to the first conductive contact, a second end part electrically connected to the second conductive contact, and at least one insulation member for electrically insulating a part of the at least one electrically conductive line, and the at least one electrically conductive line and the at least one insulation member can comprise a first part extending on at least one lateral surface of the printed circuit board. Radio frequency subscriber drop units include a housing having an input port and an output port and a printed circuit board mounted in an interior of the housing. The printed circuit board includes a dielectric layer, a wiring layer that includes conductive wirings that comprise at least part of a communications path between the input port and the output port that is on a first face of the dielectric layer, and a ground plane layer that includes a conductive ground plane that is on a second face of the dielectric layer.
RAISED PATHWAY HEAT SINK
Wireless electronic devices include one or more wireless antennas to provide for wireless communications. The antenna cables are routed internally within the device and typically noise from components located on a circuit board may couple to the antenna cables and cause a degradation in wireless performance, impact antenna sensitivity and cause packet loss. Utilizing raised pathways in a heat sink utilized for thermal transfer of heat to a housing enables tunnels to be formed between the housing and the heat sink. Routing the antenna cables through the tunnels improves noise isolation for the antenna cables while still maintaining the heat transfer. The raised pathways are configured to not interfere with components on the circuit board or components included in the housing. The wireless antennas may be mounted within the housing instead of on the board so no portion of the antenna cables are located on the circuit board.

The present invention relates to a polybutylene terephthalate composition, comprising (A) 45 to 75% by weight of polybutylene terephthalate, (B) 20 to 45% by weight of at least one carbon fiber, (C) 0 to 20% by weight of at least one solid filler other than the carbon fiber (B), and (D) 0 to 30% by weight of at least one thermoplastic polyester other than polybutylene terephthalate, each being based on the total weight of the polybutylene terephthalate composition, wherein the at least one carbon fiber has a carbon content of 93% by weight or greater, and comprises a sizing agent other than epoxy sizing agent. The present invention also relates to an EMI shielding article produced from the polybutylene terephthalate composition.
