A lead component mounting machine is provided in which lead wires are pinched and held from both sides by a pair of pawl portions, and the lead wires are inserted into through-holes of a board. The holding by the pawl portions is loosened, and a component main body is pushed in by a pushing-in device until the component main body comes into contact with the pawl portions. Subsequently, the strength of the holding by the pawl portions is increased, and the cutting and clinching of the lead wires is performed. Sliding movement of the lead wires is in a state of being suppressed by the pawl portions.

Movement of the drive shaft along the linear axis is configured to move the cutter relative to the stationary anvil, and to move the cutting tip across the stationary anvil to cut an electronic lead located between the cutting tip and the stationary anvil, and to rotate the toggle about the axis.

A lead is cut by the movable section being slid with the lead inserted into the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole. In such a cut and clinch device, a pair of recognition marks 210 are provided on a bent section opposite each other centered around the second insertion hole. Thus, the recognition marks are imaged, and based on the image data, it is possible to appropriately recognize the opening position of the second insertion hole, to appropriately insert the lead into the second insertion hole, and to appropriately cut the lead.

The inspection support device is provided with a camera provided on a moving body so as to be capable of imaging a circuit board, and an imaging control section configured to control imaging processing of the camera and acquire image data of an inspection component, which is a component that is a target for inspection among electronic components mounted by the component mounter, when the inspection component is mounted on the circuit board. The imaging control section optimizes the performance sequence of multiple of the mounting operations and multiple of the imaging operations based on a moving distance of the moving body during the performance sequence or based on a time required for the mounting operation and the imaging operation during the performance sequence.

Movable section of a cut and clinch unit includes exchange section in which is formed second insertion hole for cutting and bending a lead, and main body section to which exchange section is removably attached. An opening position of the second insertion hole is calculated as an attachment position of the exchange section on the main body section based on image data. It is determined whether a difference between the calculated opening position and a standard position of the second insertion hole that is set in advance exceeds a threshold value. If the difference between the calculated opening position and the standard position exceeds the threshold value, calibration is performed based on the assumption that the exchange section has been exchanged.
