A component mounting system includes a component mounter group, a storage section configured to store multiple production jobs, and a grouping execution section configured to allocate, when grouping the multiple production jobs, production jobs having a degree of commonality in type of components included in each production job satisfying a predetermined determination criterion to the same group, in which the group is set to perform an individual exchange of the component supply device without performing a collective exchange of a pallet of each component mounter when processing the production job belonging to the same group, and to perform the collective exchange of the pallet of each component mounter and not to perform the individual exchange of the component supply device when processing the production job belonging to different groups.

A component shortage detection device detects a component shortage of a tape feeder installed in a component mounting device. The component shortage detection device includes a sensor, configured to detect the tape, and provided at a position that is a midpoint of a tape transportation path of the tape feeder and upstream of a component extraction position by a component mounting head in a tape transportation direction. The component shortage detection device further includes a residual quantity calculation unit configured to calculate a component residual quantity of the tape during a mounting operation; and a determination unit configured to determine whether a component shortage occurs on a basis of output information from the sensor and the component residual quantity when the head fails in extraction of the component.

In a component replenishment management system, a setting unit sets work allowable time of an operator in a work area, a replenishment target identification unit identifies component replenishment target devices which are targets of component replenishment work by the operator, and a work progress determination unit determines a progress state of the component replenishment work. Then, an extraction unit extracts the component replenishment target devices for which the component replenishment work is to be performed before work time in the work area by the operator reaches the work allowable time among the component replenishment target devices whose progress state of the component replenishment work is work not performed.

A component feeding system including: a stage configured to support components in a scattered state; a holding tool configured to pick up and hold the component scattered on the stage; an imaging device configured to image the components scattered on the stage; and a control device configured to acquire, based on image data of the imaging device, a pickup possible component quantity that is a quantity of components that can be picked up by the holding tool from among the components scattered on the stage.

The component mounting device includes a component supply part on which a component supply unit that supplies a component stored in a carrier tape is detachably mounted; a feeder information acquisition part that acquires feeder information including a type of the component supply unit mounted on the component supply part; a component mounting part that mounts the component supplied from the component supply unit onto a substrate; and a unit controller that controls the component supply unit based on the feeder information.

An automatic exchanging device is provided which moves alongside the front face of a component mounting line. When an automatic exchange request for a feeder is generated in any of multiple component mounting machines constituting the component mounting line, the automatic exchanging device moves to the front of the component mounting machine in which the automatic exchange request was generated to automatically exchange the feeder. When a new automatic exchange request is generated in any one of the component mounting machines, a pull-out operation of a predetermined number of component mounting machines is prohibited, from the component mounting machine facing the automatic exchanging device toward the position of the component mounting machine in which the new automatic exchange request was generated.

A component mounting system includes multiple component mounting lines where multiple component mounters and a feeder storage are aligned along a board conveyance direction, a feeder exchange device configured to move along the board conveyance direction to exchange the feeder between the component mounter and the feeder storage of the component mounting line in charge, and a memory device. The feeder exchange device is configured to store an in-process feeder in the feeder storage of the component mounting line in charge, when it is determined, based on production information and feeder information, that there is the in-process feeder that was used in the component mounting line in charge and is scheduled to be used in another component mounting line.

Provided is an electronic component supply system determining the types of electronic components installed on component pallets at a time when the electronic components are installed on the component pallets for installation, which determines the types of the electronic components installed on the component pallets based on planned multiple jobs continuously performed by multiple electronic component mounting machines to which the component pallets are attached and an execution order for the jobs such that the number of the component pallets exchanged during job switching is minimized.

An electronic component supply apparatus (1) includes a reel apparatus (2) and a tape processing apparatus (3). The reel apparatus (2) has a tape reel (8) with a component stored tape (100) wound thereon, the component stored tape (100) having electronic components (105) stored therein. The tape processing apparatus (3) has an electronic component exposure unit (18) that exposes the electronic components (105), that are stored in the component stored tape fed from the reel apparatus (2), so as to be taken out from the component stored tape. The reel apparatus (2) is detachable from the tape processing apparatus (3).

A component mounting system includes a component mounter that mounts a component in a board, a tape feeder (component feeder) that is placed in the component mounter and supplies the component, and a mobile component supply device that holds a tape cassette (container) storing a component, automatically moves, and supplies the component in the tape cassette (container) to the tape feeder (component feeder).
