The method further comprises forming a plurality of deposits (110) of a viscous medium on at least one of the mounting and local surfaces, wherein each of the plurality of deposits has a height (/½, /½, h3) based on the obtained information, and is formed by individually applying at least one droplet (234) of the viscous medium (232) using non-contact dispensing. The method further comprises placing the component on the substrate, such that the plurality of deposits of viscous medium forms a connection between the component and the workpiece.

A management apparatus of the present disclosure is an apparatus used in a mounting system including multiple mounting-related devices each having an attachment portion to which a second member used in combination with a first member is attached and related to a process of mounting a component on a processing target object, and a moving work device that is moved between the mounting-related devices and automatically attaches and detaches the second member to and from the attachment portion. The management apparatus is configured to, when cancelation information indicating that the second member has been detached from the attachment portion of the mounting-related device is acquired and collecting information indicating that the moving work device has detached the second member from the attachment portion is not acquired, execute a process of setting the second member as a restriction target.
PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A production system includes a first production line and a second production line arranged in parallel with each other, and a first feeder exchange device and a second feeder exchange device respectively provided in each production line at an interval with which the first feeder exchange device and the second feeder exchange device can pass by each other. When the production is stopped, the first feeder exchange device and the second feeder exchange device stop at intervals of a predetermined distance or more in a board conveyance direction.

The present invention provides a storage unit for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) supplies, comprising a plurality of stacks having vertically stacked storage locations for SMT supplies, a terminal for inserting and receiving SMT supplies to and from said storage unit, a first collector arm for transporting SMT supplies between storage locations and said terminal, said collector arm being moveably arranged along said stacks so as to enable engagement with the vertically stacked storage locations of a stack. Further, the plurality of stacks are arranged in at least one cluster of two or more stacks in each cluster, wherein each stack of said at least one cluster is moveably arranged in relation to said collector arm so as to allow engagement of said collector arm with different stacks of the cluster upon movement of said two or more stacks in the cluster, thereby allowing said collector arm to engage storage locations of different stacks in said at least one cluster. The present invention further provides a method for operating a storage unit for SMT supplies.

A movable table system comprising two identical tables on a common rail arrangement having a linear rail region underneath a detection unit and a processing unit, and therefore the tables can be alternatingly moved in a straight line along the common rail arrangement, in the same table-movement direction, fully underneath the detection unit and processing unit, and can be independently controlled by a computer unit. The movable table system provides a new option for processing planar workpieces, in which a particularly high throughput rate and improved precision can be achieved using merely one processing unit.
Device for judging whether splicing of carrier tapes is allowed
The present application discloses a device for judging whether splicing of carrier tapes, which house multiple electronic components at a specified interval, wound around different reels is allowed. The device is provided with a data management section and a judging section. In the device, the data management section creates an association between and memorizes the reel ID, the type of electronic components housed in the carrier tape wound around the reel, the remaining quantity of electronic components housed in the carrier tape wound around the reel, and the possible winding quantity of electronic components to the reel. Also, in the device, the judging section, in a case in which the total of the remaining quantities of electronic components of two reels exceeds the possible winding quantity of the reel to be wound onto, judges that splicing of the carrier tapes is not allowed.

A component verification method includes a component ID reading process of reading a component ID corresponding to a stored component of a subsequent tape, a tape insertion detecting process of detecting that the subsequent tape has been inserted into a tape feeder, a feeder specifying process of specifying a tape feeder in which the insertion of the subsequent tape has been detected, and a component verifying process of verifying whether or not a correspondence relationship between the read component ID and the specified tape feeder is correct.

FEEDER STATE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A system includes feeder storage that stores feeders to be replenished to multiple component mounters and feeders removed from each component mounter, automatic exchanging device to replenish a feeder taken from the feeder storage to each component mounter and collect a feeder removed from each component mounter to the feeder storage, and feeder management section that manages whether each feeder stored in the feeder storage is a feeder to be replenished or a feeder to be collected. State display section, being provided with each feeder on an end face part on a removal direction side or an upper end face part, is configured to display a state of the feeder, and the feeder management section displays whether each feeder stored in the feeder storage is the feeder to be replenished or the feeder to be collected, on the state display section of each feeder.
