A fluid control apparatus is provided which makes it possible to effortlessly perform cable connection even when a plurality of the fluid control apparatuses are disposed adjacent to each other. The fluid control apparatus includes fluid control units to control a flow rate or pressure of a fluid, an electric circuit board to send and receive a signal to and from the fluid control units, a casing to accommodate therein the fluid control units and the electric circuit board, and an apparatus-side connector interposed between the electric circuit board and a cable electrically connected thereto. The fluid control apparatus further includes a connector board configured to mount thereon the apparatus-side connector. The connector board is secured to the electric circuit board with at least a part of the connector board in surface contact with the electric circuit board, or overlapping the electric circuit board with a clearance therebetween.

An electronic device includes a substrate having a connector formed on a main face, and a module having a terminal detachably connected to the connector of the substrate. The module includes an extended part which projects below the terminal in an installation direction. The substrate includes a bypass part which bypasses the extended part when the module is connected to the substrate. The bypass part is a cutout or a recess formed in the substrate. The extended part accommodates a plurality of components aligned in the installation direction. The extended part is extended from the lower end of the module by a difference between a first size, corresponding to multiple times the size of each component, and a second size ranging from the upper end of the module to the end of the terminal.

Printed circuit board

A printed circuit board includes: a first insulating substrate having a mounting hole that penetrates through the first insulating substrate from a first surface to a second surface; a second insulating substrate including a connection portion; a first electrode provided on the second surface and disposed at an edge of the mounting hole; a second electrode provided on the connection portion and joined to the first electrode; and an electronic component provided on the second surface. A center of mass of the second insulating substrate is disposed on the first surface of the first insulating substrate. A center of mass of the electronic component is disposed on the second surface of the first insulating substrate. The electronic component has a weight equivalent to a weight of the second insulating substrate.

Vehicle Luminaire and Vehicle Lamp

According to one embodiment, a vehicle luminaire includes: a board having a plate shape and including a first surface, a second surface facing the first surface, and at least one coupling portion penetrating between the first surface and the second surface; a light-emitting element provided on the first surface of the board; and a connecting portion having a plate shape, including a convex portion provided inside each coupling portion on one end portion side, and extending in a direction from the first surface toward the second surface. A tip portion of the convex portion protrudes from the first surface of the board. A distance between the tip portion of the convex portion and the first surface of the board is larger than a distance between a light-emitting surface of the light-emitting element and the first surface of the board.

Control Module for a Lighting Fixture

A control module attached to a lighting fixture and having a front cover portion may comprise one or more sensors, such as a daylight and/or occupancy sensor, for sensing information through the front cover portion. The control module may have a main printed circuit board (PCB) that extends from a front side to a rear side of the control module, and a sensor PCB perpendicular to the main PCB to enable at least one sensor attached to the sensor PCB to face the front side of the control module. The main PCB may comprise a wireless communication circuit and an antenna for communicating radio frequency (RF) signals, wherein at least a portion of the antenna is located within a plastic lip of the front cover portion of the control module. The control module may further have a conductive enclosure to reduce radio-frequency interference noise from coupling into the antenna.

SENSOR UNIT FOR VEHICLES

A sensor unit for vehicles for detecting at least the moisture and/or the temperature on the inside of a vehicle window by a sensor is disclosed. The sensor unit is mounted adjacent to the inside of the vehicle window, the sensor unit comprises a housing within which it is partially enclosed, the housing has at least one opening in the direction of the vehicle window through which the sensor unit is pressed against the vehicle window. The sensor unit has a printed circuit board (PCB) that is pressed against the inside of the vehicle window when the sensor unit is in the mounted state, and is arranged between the sensor and the vehicle window. The PCB is a rigid-flexible PCB comprising a bend at least in a partial region, the bend of the rigid-flexible PCB being set up in such a way as to generate an elastic restoring force, which presses the rigid-flexible PCB against the vehicle window. The rigid-flexible PCB has at least one recess for receiving a fixing means and these together are designed to hold the rigid-flexible PCB in a specific shape.

An electronic device includes a slot, and a backboard that is disposed on the depth side in the slot and is electrically connected to a printed circuit board inserted in the slot. The electronic device further includes a casing having the slot formed therein, the casing being configured to accommodate therein at least part of the backboard, and a cover member configured to be attachable to and removable from the casing. When attached to the casing, the cover member together with the casing forms the external appearance of the electronic device. The cover member is attached to the backboard integrally.

Electronic circuit

An electronic circuit includes a first printed wiring board, a second printed wiring board and a third printed wiring board. The second printed wiring board is mounted such that one edge of the second printed wiring board abuts on a part mounting surface of the first printed wiring board on which a part is mounted. The third printed wiring board is mounted such that one edge of the third printed wiring board abuts on the part mounting surface. The second and third printed wiring boards are connected to each other in a state where plate thickness directions thereof are oriented in different directions from each other about a normal line to the part mounting surface. Further, at least one of the second printed wiring board and the third printed wiring board is provided with an antenna pattern.

INTEGRATING SYSTEM IN PACKAGE (SIP) WITH INPUT/OUTPUT (IO) BOARD FOR PLATFORM MINIATURIZATION

Methods and apparatus relating to integrating System in Package (SiP) with Input/Output (IO) board for platform miniaturization are described. In an embodiment, a SiP board includes a plurality of logic components. An IO board is coupled to the SiP board via a grid array. The plurality of logic components is provided on both sides of the SiP board and one or more of the plurality of logic components are to positioned in an opening in the IO board. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.

A wiring substrate is connected to a backplane, and includes: a first connector that is mounted on one surface of the wiring substrate and is connected to the backplane; an opening portion that is formed in the one surface on a side opposite to a side connected to the backplane of the first connector, and through which a cable having one end connected to the first connector is passed; an integrated circuit that is mounted on the one surface on a side opposite to a side on which the first connector is present relative to the opening portion; and a second connector that is mounted on the other surface on a side opposite to the one surface in the vicinity of the integrated circuit on the side opposite to the side on which the first connector is present relative to the opening portion, is connected to the integrated circuit via a through hole penetrating the wiring substrate, and is connected to the other end of the cable.
