Antenna and foldable electronic device including the same
In an embodiment, an electronic device may include a housing including a hinge module, a first housing, and second housing. The first and second housings are rotatably coupled to each other via the hinge module to be in a folded state or an unfolded state. The electronic device may further include a flexible display, at least one conductive pattern disposed in the first housing, at least one conductor disposed at a position in the second housing corresponding to the at least one conductive pattern such that the at least one conductor is capacitively coupled to the conductive pattern when the electronic device is in the folded state, and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the at least one conductive pattern in the first housing. Other embodiments are also possible.
Supporting an electrical connector
An electrical connector having a detachable interface and a permanent interface is supported by connecting the permanent interface to a circuit-board. A first loom end (303) and a second loom end (305) are connected to the circuit board and an over-moulding (404) is applied to cover the permanent interface, the first loom end and the second loom end. The detachable interface is located through an orifice in an item of clothing (410) and the over-moulding is secured to an internal surface of an item of clothing by a first side flange (404) and a second side flange (405).
PCB-based connector device
A connector device for connection with a counter piece for establishing a mechanical and electric connection, wherein the connector device comprises at least two printed circuit board elements each comprising an electrically insulating core and at least one comprising an electrically conductive structure at least partially on the respective electrically insulating core, and at least one embedded component embedded within the respective electrically insulating core and electrically coupled to the respective electrically conductive structure, wherein the at least one electrically conductive structure is arranged at least partially on an exposed surface of the connector device and is configured for establishing the electric connection with the counter piece upon establishing the mechanical connection with the counter piece.
Method for manufacturing stretchable electronic device
A method for manufacturing a stretchable electronic device, which includes manufacturing and connecting a stretchable board and a stretchable conductive connecting body constituting the stretchable electronic device; and attaching one or more electric parts to the stretchable conductive connecting body. The stretchable board has a surface for mounting one or more electric parts. The stretchable conductive connecting body is provided on the stretchable board, extended in a three-dimensional stereoscopic structure in a direction away from the surface, and has stretchability. The stretchable conductive connecting body includes a conductive connecting part for attaching an upper surface of the stretchable conductive connecting body to the electric part so as to be electrically connected to an electrode of the electric part.
INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM FOR LIGHTING FIXTURES
A lighting fixture includes a bus printed circuit board that receives power from an external source. The bus printed circuit board has traces that route the power to a set of exposed pads, and also has mechanical features for receiving an electronic device. The lighting fixture further includes a set of one or more drivers, having mechanical features for engaging the mechanical features of the bus printed circuit board to mechanically mount the driver to the bus printed circuit board. Each of the set of one or more drivers further includes a set of spring contacts positioned to engage at least some of the exposed pads of the bus printed circuit board when the driver is mounted to the bus printed circuit board, to supply power to the driver. The lighting fixture further includes one or more light sources driven by the one or more drivers.
ANTENNA AND FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
In an embodiment, an electronic device may include a housing including a hinge module, a first housing, and second housing. The first and second housings are rotatably coupled to each other via the hinge module to be in a folded state or an unfolded state. The electronic device may further include a flexible display, at least one conductive pattern disposed in the first housing, at least one conductor disposed at a position in the second housing corresponding to the at least one conductive pattern such that the at least one conductor is capacitively coupled to the conductive pattern when the electronic device is in the folded state, and a wireless communication circuit electrically connected to the at least one conductive pattern in the first housing. Other embodiments are also possible.
Connector for clothing
A connector for clothing includes a first substrate and a first connector being mounted on the first substrate. The first connector includes a first conductive metallic case with a first bottom portion surrounded by an annular first side portion. At least two first wire through holes are configured to the first side portion. A first wire module including at least three first wires and at least one ground wire is configured to the first connector. Three first wires are passed through one of the first wire through hole and the ground wire is electrically connected with a surface of the first case. A first circular board is configured inside but insulated from the first case. At least three first electric junctions are electrically attached on a surface of the first circular board and each first wire is electrically connected with each first electric junction.
DIELECTRIC AND METALLIC NANOWIRE BOND LAYERS
In some examples, an electronic device comprises a first component having a surface, a second component having a surface, and a bond layer positioned between the surfaces of the first and second components to couple the first and second components to each other. The bond layer includes a set of metallic nanowires and a dielectric portion. The dielectric portion comprises a polymer matrix and dielectric nanoparticles.
Extremely low profile electrical interconnect for printed wiring board
A board element for board-to-board interconnect formation is provided. An embodiment includes embedding a signal via element in the board element and cutting through respective sections of the board element and the signal via element to expose a new board element edge and an outwardly facing surface of the signal via element.
