Sole board
A sole board for an article of footwear includes a plate that has a forefoot region, a midfoot region, and a heel region. The sole board includes a channel disposed in a top surface of the plate in the forefoot region. The channel extends from a lateral edge of the plate to a medial edge of the plate. A characteristic of the channel at the lateral and medial edges of the plate is different than the characteristic of the channel at a middle of the channel.
Footwear fabrication by composite filament 3D printing
A footwear insole shape is generated by supplying a core reinforced filament having a matrix material impregnating reinforcing strands aligned along the filament, as well as a fill material separately from the core reinforced filament and depositing at least one shell of fill material within an insole shape upon a print bed. The core reinforced filament is deposited to fuse to the fill material within a first reinforcing region formed with respect to the insole shape. A cutter upstream of the nozzle tip cuts the core reinforced filament, and a remainder of the core reinforced filament is deposited to complete the first reinforcing region. A nozzle tip applies pressure to continuously compact the core reinforced filament toward the insole shape as the core reinforced filament is fused to the fill material.
Thermo Gloves and Thermo Insoles
A heating liner for contacting portions of a person's hand or foot includes a liner material; plurality of heating members; a top surface; and a bottom surface. The liner material is adapted to contact the portions of the person's hand or foot. Wherein each of the plurality of heating members is formed from a plurality of elements chosen from a group of elements consisting of iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and vermiculite. The plurality of heating members are exposed to air they produce heat. The plurality of heating members are attached to said bottom surface and spaced from one another. A combination of a glove and a heating liner and a combination of a shoe and a heating liner are also disclosed.
SOCKS AND OTHER FOOTWEAR WITH ENHANCED FEATURES
A sock and/or outer footwear having one or more portions with reduced frictional characteristics. One or more of the heel portion, the arch portion and the ball portion of the sock and/or interior of the outer footwear is fabricated with one or more fibers having the reduced frictional characteristics. The reduced frictional characteristics are established with the one or more low-friction fibers that are integrated with fibers having additional complementary characteristics of thermal regulation and moisture management. The provision of reduced frictional characteristics in one or more of the heel, arch and ball facilitates insertion of a foot into footwear.
Insole with inferiorly extending projections
An insole for an article of footwear includes a base that extends generally in the transverse direction, and the base includes a base superior surface and a base inferior surface. Furthermore, the insole includes a dampener that is resiliently flexible to cushion the foot of the wearer. The dampener extends inferiorly from the inferior surface of the base and terminates at a dampener inferior surface. The dampener also is rounded in a cross section taken in the inferior-superior direction. The dampener also includes an opening that extends through the dampener inferior surface and that extends superiorly therefrom.
3D PRINTED ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR WITH SENSORS AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
The present disclosure is related to three-dimensionally printed articles for use in footwear and associated systems and methods. In some embodiments, a three-dimensionally printed article may comprise a closed-cell foam. The closed-cell foam may have a gradient in and/or may be a single integrated material. In some embodiments, a three-dimensionally printed article may comprise a sensor. The use of such arrangements can, according to certain embodiments, allow for the production of improved articles of footwear and/or customized articles of footwear.

Disposable Insert with Deodorizing Antiperspirant
An insert for inserting into an article of bodily contact, such as a shoe, that deodorizes and absorbs moisture, is economical enough for daily disposable use and moves about within the article. Embodiments of the insert comprise a single-layered flexible sheet of material impregnated with a deodorizing and moisture-absorbing composition. Embodiments of the composition comprise all-natural ingredients such as baking powder, baking soda, kaolin powder and essential oil.
MOLECULARLY DOPED PIEZOELECTRIC FOAMS
A material that includes a polymer foam and at least one polar dopant molecule included in the polymer foam, wherein the material is a piezoelectric.
