The Faraday wall includes a solid, unitary body having a same shape as the trench. The Faraday wall is disposed within the trench to surround an entirety of the circuit element.
Printed circuit board with high-capacity copper circuit
A printed circuit board with high-capacity and high-current copper circuit includes a conductive trace, a first protecting layer, and a second protecting layer on opposite sides of the conductive trace. The conductive trace includes a basic conductive trace pattern, a first conductive trace pattern, and a second conductive trace pattern. The first and second conductive trace patterns are directly formed on opposite surfaces of the basic copper conductive trace pattern. A width of trace of the first conductive trace pattern is the same as a line width of the second conductive trace pattern.
PCB for bare die mount and process therefore
Embodiments for a circuit board comprising a plurality of electrically conductive layers and a plurality of electrically non-conductive layers in a laminated stack are provided. The laminated stack defines a front face and a back face. A thermal conductive heat body extends from a die bond pad on the front face to an electrically conductive layer on the back face. The die bond pad is configured for a bare die to be mounted thereon. A bonding agent disposed around the thermal conductive heat body adhering the thermal conductive heat body to walls of an opening of the laminated stack and at least one of the plurality of electrically non-conductive layers are a monolithic structure. A plurality of wire bond pads on the front face adjacent to the die bond pad have a surface finish material thereon. The surface finish material is configured for wire bonding thereto.
Circuit carrier, package, and method for manufacturing a package
A circuit carrier includes a first side, two layers arranged to define an intermediate space there between, with at least one of the two layers being electrically conductive and attached to the first side. The at least one of the two layers has a region deformed such as to exhibit an indentation and has a trace structure in the indentation. A first insulating material fills the intermediate space, and a second insulating material fills the indentation, A second side in opposition to the first side is shaped to have in the deformed region a cut-out for receiving a bare die such as to come into an electrical contact with the at least one of the two layers.
HIGH CONNECGOR COUNT MATING COMPLIANCE
A method and system are disclosed that allow easier coupling between high-density connectors. In one example implementation, the connectors on a computer board are mounted on flexible tabs extending from the computer board, the tabs having been formed by cutting slots on both sides of each of the tabs. A milled section within each tab makes the tab thinner, allowing it additional flexibility. In another example implementation, a pass-through connector is used as an intermediary between two mating connectors. The pass-through connector has internal pins with greater tolerance than the tolerance between the two mating connectors, allowing it easier alignment of pins for coupling. In yet another example implementation, mating connectors are coupled using a bundle of cables between the mating connectors that allows the coupling of multiple connectors, one at a time, reducing or eliminating the need to simultaneously couple multiple connectors.
Printed circuit board and method for processing a printed circuit board
A printed circuit board has first, second, and third printed circuit board sections extending along a longitudinal direction between two transverse edge outer sides of the printed circuit board. The printed circuit board has at each of its two longitudinal ends a respective transverse edge strip, which has regions of the first, second, and third printed circuit board sections and extends continuously transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction along a transverse edge outer side. A depression is formed in the third printed circuit board section on the first printed circuit board side between the two transverse edge strips. The first and/or second printed circuit board sections has a first metallic conductor track section that extends electrically conductively right into one or both of the two transverse edge strips.
Printed circuit board and method for producing the printed circuit board
Disclosed is a printed circuit board having a holder for a battery, wherein the holder includes first and second contacts connected to conductive traces of the printed circuit board and wherein the holder is embodied such that a battery inserted into the holder is clamped so that poles of the battery on opposite end faces of the battery make electrical contact with the first and second contacts. The battery lies clamped between the contacts on a support region of the printed circuit board and is oriented with reference to the printed circuit board so that an imaginary line connecting the poles of the battery is essentially in parallel with the plane of the support region. The printed circuit board has connected with the support region a rigid first section, which is essentially perpendicular to the support region, and wherein the first contact is arranged on the first section.
