Electronic component and method for manufacturing same
To provide: an electronic component which comprises a copper electrode on an inorganic material substrate and wherein the adhesion strength between the substrate and the copper electrode is high, thereby achieving improved adhesion of the copper electrode; and a method for manufacturing this electronic component. An electronic component which comprises a copper electrode on an inorganic material substrate and wherein an interface layer containing copper, manganese, silicon and oxygen is provided at the interface between the substrate and the copper electrode, and the interface layer contains crystal grains that are mainly formed of copper and dispersed in the interface layer. A method for manufacturing this electronic component comprises: an interface layer formation step for forming an interface layer on the substrate; and an electrode formation step for forming the copper electrode on the interface layer.
Circuit board made of AIN with copper structures
Process for producing a ceramic circuit board with electrical conductor traces and contacting points on a side and with a through-hole contact by successively a) producing an AlN substrate and drilling holes at the locations for the vias, b) filling the holes with an adhesive paste containing copper, tungsten and/or molybdenum or alloys thereof, and c) single-pass overprinting with a second adhesive paste using a first screen-printing operation on a side of the ceramic substrate with the layout of the conductor traces and contact points, d) optionally, fully or partially repeating overprinting with the second adhesive paste, e) stoving the printed ceramic substrate in an oven with N.sub.2 while controlling oxygen at 0-50 ppm O.sub.2, f) overprinting using a second screen-printing process with a low-glass cover paste over the second adhesive paste, and g) stoving the printed ceramic substrate with N.sub.2 while keeping the oxygen content at 0-50 ppm O.sub.2.

Portable equipment for monitoring and controlling the level of oxygen in reflow oven atmosphere
The present invention describes a portable device for monitoring and controlling the level of residual oxygen in reflow oven atmosphere (1). This referred equipment is able to determine the quality of the atmosphere of a reflow oven, using parameters predetermined by the user. Therefore, the equipment performs the monitoring of the reflow oven atmosphere (1) controlling the level of residual oxygen of the reflow oven (1) by increasing or decreasing of the feed flow rate of nitrogen by the control that the microcontroller exerts over the proportional valve of nitrogen flow control (9), by opening or closing the valves to kept such predetermined values.
Method for soldering an electronic component to a circuit board by jetting liquefied solder into a through hole
A method for soldering an electronic component to a circuit board involves jetting liquefied solder. A laser beam melts a solid solder ball to produce a liquefied solder ball before the ball is jetted. The liquefied solder ball is jetted towards a through hole in the circuit board such that a portion of the liquefied solder ball flows into an annular gap between a pin and sides of the through hole. The pin is attached to the electronic component and passes through the through hole. As the liquefied solder ball is jetted towards the through hole, the laser beam is directed at the ball so as to keep it liquefied. How much of the solder ball remains outside the through hole after liquefied solder has flowed into the annular gap is determined. The filling degree of the annular gap is determined based on how much solder remains outside the hole.
Device for etching the periphery edge of a substrate and method for controlling etching thereof
The present invention relates to a substrate edge etching apparatus including: a substrate support assembly having a horizontally rotatable chuck base, chuck pins disposed on top of the chuck base to support a substrate, a purge gas inlet hole extending from an underside center of the chuck base to an interior of the chuck base in an upward and downward direction thereof, and a purge gas outlet hole extending radially from the purge gas inlet hole and then extending upwardly to penetrate top of the chuck base; a purge gas supply assembly for supplying a purge gas to the purge gas inlet hole; a chemical liquid supply unit for supplying a chemical liquid to top of the substrate; a bowl assembly having bowls surrounding the periphery of the substrate support assembly and configured to be able to ascend and descend; and a fan filter unit spaced apart from top of the substrate support assembly.
