A method can include providing an object having a size smaller than a size of a known regulation object, projecting the object, via a delivery device, toward a trainee, and training the trainee to follow the object. A method can include determining a game parameter of a game trajectory of a sports object that was projected along the game trajectory in a real-time sports event, and based on the game parameters, adapting a delivery device to deliver a training object along a training trajectory that mimics at least a portion of the game trajectory, with the training object being smaller than the sports object.

A method can include projecting an object toward an impact device along a trajectory, receiving the object at a target zone of the impact device, a trainee striking the impact device at an impact zone with a sports tool, and scoring a performance score of the trainee to impact the impact zone at an appropriate time compared to an arrival time of the object at the target zone. A method can include projecting an object toward a target along a trajectory, receiving the object at an actual arrival position at the target, wherein the actual arrival position is either inside a target zone or outside the target zone, and where a trainee is configured to send an indication when the trainee expects the object to arrive inside the target zone, comparing the indication to the actual arrival position, and determining a performance score based on the comparing.

A covert sports communication system has a transmitter configured to wirelessly transmit coded audio track selection signals. The system includes a receiver that may be worn within headgear. The receiver includes stored audio tracks and is configured to receive coded audio track selection signals from the transmitter, decode the audio track selection signals, and play at least one stored audio track in accordance with the decoded audio track selection signals. The audio tracks may include audio instructions to a participant of a sporting event.

A garment for sports throw training includes a compression sleeve having an inlet into which a user inserts their arm. The compression sleeve extends to a terminal end such that generally constant contact is formed with the user's arm along a length of the compression sleeve. The compression sleeve may extend to above the user's elbow. A netting enclosure is on an outlet end of the compression sleeve and a collar is defined about the outlet end of the compression sleeve to secure the garment to the user's wrist. The netting enclosure defines a mesh or gridded construction such that the user's hand and a ball are visible within the netting enclosure.

A hitting and pitching training device is provided. The hitting and pitching training device includes a base stand. A vertical shaft extends upward from the base stand. A first horizontal bar extends laterally outward from the vertical shaft. A second horizontal bar extends laterally outward from the vertical shaft. The first horizontal bar and the second horizontal bar can be vertically adjusted along the length of the vertical shaft. The present disclosure relates to effective, efficient, and economical methods and systems for improving athletic performance by tracking objects typically thrown or hit by athletes. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a unique configuration of technology wherein an electronic display is located at or behind the target and one or more cameras are positioned to observe the target. Once an object is thrown or hit, one or more cameras may observe and track the object. Further, an electronic display may be used to provide targeting information to an athlete and also to determine the athlete's accuracy.

A portable pitching mound with a plurality of mound sections. The plurality of mound sections are assembled by inserting a lower edge of one mound section into a receiving slot of another mound section. The configuration of the receiving slot forms an opening larger than the lower edge of the mound section to be received therein. The larger size of the opening allows the lower to be positioned anywhere above the opening of the receiving slot and upon lowering the weight of the mound section and gravity causes the lower edge to slide downwards and towards the adjoining mound section. The rotatable platform is configured to support a user's foot during usage of the athletic training device, and may have a substantially planar upper surface portion for placement of the user's foot. The rotatable platform is mounted to the frame body by a pivoting mechanism so that the rotatable platform freely rotates upon the frame body.
